First Time in Utrecht | Netherlands

Hi Sean, nice video, I am from Utrecht, this beautiful old 'bishops's city' as we say, with 2000 years of history.... Yes, there is more than Amsterdam.... that is nowadays overcrowded with tourists. Utrecht is still okay (most of the time). I used to be a guide on the boatttours in the most beautiful Dutch canal, Oudegracht. Domtower's renovation is finished, so we are all very happy to see it again. Greetings from Utrecht😀

The problem is not only tourists just visiting Amsterdam, its also always the same part, with the same sights. Amsterdam is a pretty big place, far more than just the red light district and the area around it. If you want to compare it with NYC, think about the Times Square area. For most New Yorkers it must be annoying when people only visit that area, and think thats what the city is all about. When you actually live there, its probably going to be the exact opposite and pretty much the worst place to be.

If people visit NYC they only visit manhattan, so very comparable with people who visit Amsterdam and stay inside the 'grachten gordel'.
