Ray, when she sings her complexities are second nature to her. It is absolutely incomprehensible to imagine how Angelina does what she does at such a young age. All I know is she is singing FOR US and she has our undivided attention for every second of every performance. We find it difficult to resume normal activities after listening to her. This performance was so good and so unique when she finishes the song she leans back and takes a deep breath. Yes, she seemed satisfied. She should have. She knocked it out of the ballpark!

The song is about the life of an artist in Paris. Many artists traveled there to improve and meet like-minded people. Most lived a poor life, but there was also joy. Angelina performs this French song in an absolutely incomparable way! The English text has so many words in quick succession! To sing all this and follow the music while Angelina also puts in the feelings! Incomparable, fantastic. The fact that she is 11 yo also makes me wonder if she is an alian.

It is Aznavour's signature song, as well as one of the most popular French-language song. Aznavour first recorded it in 1965 and was sung in French.
