Angelina is at her best when performing live, in front of an audience. Her 1st appearance on AGT, at 13, is a good example. She had wanted to sing for Simon since she was 3 years old and prior to the performance she said that it was the biggest opportunity of her life. To go onto that stage in front of the judges, thousands in the audience and millions on TV, and perfectly deliver her own rearrangement of one of the most iconic songs in history was the best performance I have seen. It appears that the higher the pressure, the better she is.

Ray, that kid with the pad and pencil (or pen) was waiting the whole Concert for when he could get a chance for Angelina to give him an autograph. How do I know? No clue. Just a guess 🙂.This performance was so good it rivaled her performance on NGT. Outdoor setting, a live band playing some nice jazz. Ray, I noticed something. It's usually always a beautiful day when Angelina sings outside. Just a coincidence?

I was lucky to be born in that era the latter part anyway. I remember the fifties very well. I remember our first 10 inch b/w tv that sat on top our floor model radio lol. But Angie and Dimash are the best and both can sing and speak in many different languages. Dimash has a little more range than practically anyone and Angelina has more soul than most.

We lived about 20 miles south of Detroit and wet to baseball games at the old Briggs stadium. Al kaline was my hero. I even saw him rob Ted Williams of a home run. They a short porch in right and the wall was only about chest high. He leaped up and grabbed it the turned and fired a strike to first and doubled the guy off, We also were hockey fans and the Red Wings were pretty good then with Gordie Howe/Ted Lindsey/Terry Sawchuck and many other good players. One night we went to the game and they didnt televise it live because it was a home game but they had a tape delay i think at midnight ad we rushed home and watched the full game. Of course they one because who wants to watch your team lose twice. I was born in Detroit too at Mercy Hospital . I had grandparents who lived in Detroit/ another set of grandparents lived in Southfield on a small farm/ and a great aunt and uncle who lived in Highland Park. i remember i got a hula hoop and took it with me and was playing on the sidewalk and pretty soon we had a big crowd and all were enjoying it. I guess my parents forgot to teach me prejudice cause we all had a blast Black/White/Mexican and Japanese. Wish the NEWS had come out and took a film of it for the news. Maybe it could have taught a lesson to the WORLD. Keep up the good work and enjoy the rest. I also look for new talent to watch and my sister told me of this little girl called Jackie Evancho. It blew me away she came in second but has had a much bigger career than the guy who won. at age 10 and 11 she was travelling all over the world giving concerts. she is still giving concerts at 23.

I know this is going to be an odd request, but you have to react to this song one more time. That was when she sang Summertime in a concert with the KORK orchestra. That happened about 2 years later after this outdoors concert video you just watched. I have to admit the audience was a bit too politely subdued at the end of that performance, but I think they may have just been a little awestruck at the perfection they witnessed.

Nice reaction Vibes! Boy, I haven't seen this one in a while. She's so young and yet she's just oozing old soul/old jazzy "vibes", feelings, emotions. When you hear her sing, you feel like you've traveled back in to time. I can picture myself in a nice small jazz club, sitting at a small table with a good drink and just listening to her sing. Hey Ray, I think you have not done this one for Angelina. The song she did was a cover called Mercy by the artist Duffy. She did this song from over a year ago and it was for a movie called The Hating Game starring Lucy Hale. As a matter of fact, she actually opens the movie in the first few minutes with this song! I think when you hear it, you'll be happy and surprised!
