RAY, Angelina sang a shorter version of this song when she was 9 years old. It was on a TV show where she was also interviewed about her book being published. Her book, Between Two Hearts, tells the story of why she always performs barefoot. She reads from her diary during the interview. The interview and the short song make for a great reaction video. It's no secret that the 'Gold Standard' for this song belongs to a solo performance by Bobby Hadfield of The Righteous Brothers. That said, young Angelina stays true to Bobby's rendition and performs, in my estimation, the 2nd best performance of this song that I have ever heard, doing it casually at this young age, and I'm talking about other male or female singers. Can't wait to hear her revisit the song when she becomes a full adult when her lungs are fully developed.
