Behind the story of "Dinosaur'' is about them and their family and what they had to go through growing up, they were really poor and even ended up homeless for a time so they went to live in Mongolia for a while, they even didn't go to school when they were living there, in Korea some how there's a term about dinosaurs and they call dinosaurs to creditors or kinda like a gang entering your house and asking or taking whatever you have to pay your debts, those ''creditors'' were stalking their family for money and he used to have bad dreams about it, now he's rich and she's stable. They're saying that if those dinosaurs came back they will scream louder than them and they won't let those dinosaurs touch their family again. (They have a lot of sad stories growing up and they have songs talking about how they were kinda bullied by their looks since they're not really into korean standards of beauty and whatever so may be that's why he put those bullying scenes too. However now they're so big in korea(called them as ''Digital Monsters''). Everyone love them and known as ''National Siblings''.)

You may not know that the song "Dinosaur" was inspired by Chanhyuk's own childhood, where the dreams of that day kept haunting him for a long time. "Dinosaur" is a metaphor for people who come to the home of two debt collectors and their family's struggle with creditors that has filled Chanhyuk and Suhyun's childhood with fear. AKMU's parents were so poor that they couldn't support their family life to the point that they had to move to Mongolia to escape poverty in Korea. Suhyun is a vocal genius and Chanhyuk is a songwriting genius. Each of his songs has a story. hope you watch "Melted" and react, it's beautiful like a meaningful movie that won't let you down, I bet.

Let me tell you Ja AKMU IS PURE TALENT. YG SIGNED THEM AS GENIUS MUSICAL PRODIGIES. NO TRAINING. NO PACKAGING. NO MSG. NO PRESERVATIVES. 😂 BUT SERIOUSLY THEY ARE SOMETHING ELSE. All music is composed, written, arranged and produced by Chanyuk. Pair that with the goddess vocal of Suhyun. Their lyrics are quirky and unique. That's the reason why they have the power to have all the biggest and most respected artists feature in their album at a very young age. I suggest 'Melted'and 'How People Move' by them.

Akmu also known as Akdong Musician is called "The Nation's Siblings" in SK.. the general public loves them so much.. they do well in music charts and digital sales. Chanhyuk (the brother) is a genius lyricist and composer. He wrote and composed all of their songs. He wrote their last full album while he was in the military. He is also a best seller book author. And fun fact, you know the solo song of Yedam, Wayo, Chanhyuk and Yoon made that. Suhyun has one of the most beautiful voices in Kpop. She has lots of OSTs too. Finally you’re getting into THE NATION’S SIBLINGS!! SKOREA really adores AKMU and literally everything AKMU touches turns to gold tbh! Their song “How Can I Love The Heartbreak, You’re The One I Love” is still going strong in charts even though it’s been 2 years since it’s released! AKMU has been in various music related shows, variety shows, and etc just like WINNER.. it’s very easy for them to get gigs like radio DJ, acting roles, MC roles, or get casted variety/reality shows. Also, just like their fellow YGE artists.. AKMU composes/write/produce their own music. AKMU’s main composer is CHANHYUK and honestly he’s just a unique and intelligent composer. Many will say AKMU is not your typical YG artist cuz their music genre is just different from the rest. But that’s what makes AKMU.. well AKMU. Just like how WINNER music is just WINNER and how BIG BANG is BIG BANG.. and we know when it’s an IKON song. Those groups have their own sound and vibe that is distinguishable within YGE and in KPOP industry. To me, AKMU is truly refreshing and lyrically their music hits me either in a fun way or in an emotional way. I’m glad you got the meaning of “DINOSAUR”, AKMU’s childhood was rough and their family has been through a lot. They are Korean, but they lived in Mongolia in their early childhood. They weren’t rich and literally had loan sharks/landlords knocking on their door 24/7 harassing them for money. It makes so much sense as to why their music/lyrics has so much wisdom and maturity despite them still being young. Their music is just TASTE!! Chanhyuk is one of the best songwriters in Korea like seriously since he was kid he can make people cry & amazed by his songs then there is Suhyun that have powerful & angelic voice that make it more better. Also Ja, the meaning behind dinosaur is so good. So basically dinosaur represents debt collectors and basically the whole life struggles. For those who don't know, AKMU and their family struggled a lot before their debut. The debt collectors will always come over and trash their house just to leave them in fear which is why they moved to mongolia for a cheaper living expenses. That's why on the lyrics Suhyun said "My mom hugged me. I couldn’t hide my tears. She told me to watch TV and calm down" I guess watching the TV will somehow take their attention away from the fear that they're experiencing at some time. Also if you pay attention to the bridge, the dinosaur is basically the debt collectors.
