Baekhyun commented in various interviews that he always dreamed of making a concept like Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. He thinks that time was masterful, unforgettable; he would like to try something like that, but unfortunately the company has not allowed him to do so yet. Baek explained to us that as our gift before his military service he gives us Bambi, in Bambi and in this album he puts all his essence, what he always wanted to do, he said that he did not mind failing, he simply wanted to show himself as he was. As you already know, Baek's first two albums were about light. Bambi is like a game in Korea, it means "rain" and "night", it is a dark concept. Baekhyun said that he is about to turn 30, so we shouldn't expect children's lyrics hahaha. Crazy right? We love him. He also told us that there are several hidden details in Bambi, so far EXO L has only noticed two: when he says "I have waited for you TinkerBell" it is because the EXO guys are our Peter Pan, like EXO's song. And the other detail is that at the end he says "keep this tempo", since Baek is the main character in the Tempo MV. Baek said that the nights he recorded he was too cold and we can tell by the steam or mist coming out of his mouth; he also said that when he grabbed the irons from the train, he hurt his hands. And regarding the vocals, if you listen to him better even than Candy, it's because he took singing lessons from scratch to deliver everything on Bambi. We love it so much. He said that he tried too hard, that he hopes we will give a lot of love to Bambi and the album. Our genius idol Baekhyun is so cute and considerate of us that he even confessed that for as long as he's gone, two songs will be released. Hey guys 👋! Thank you for reacting to this so quickly, hopefully this album gets a lot of love, the MV got to #6 on trending here in the UK, so fingers crossed 🤞🏼. But it won’t get any proper promotions, like going on TV shows etc, coz Baekhyun has put off his mandatory military service as long as he could, and is enlisting for his 18 month or 21 month stint start of April (which is tomorrow as I type this). The length of time he is conscripted depends on the branch he goes into. But yeah, all South Korean men who are able bodied and between 18-28 years old have to enlist for 18 months minimum because technically they are still at war with the north. But some categories of people can postpone for an extra two years until they are 30, KPOP idols being one of them. But if you want more EXO related content, I absolutely LOVE both Mama and Growl. I’ll keep the list short! But I will also say that another member, Lay, has an MV called Lit which you must must must check out, the production is just 🤯🤯. The visuals. The number of extras. The track itself. And Lay paid for it all out of his own pocket apparently (but I’m still new EXO-L (EXO-L is the fandom name, coz EXO used to have 2 subunits, the Korean subunit EXO-K and the Chinese subunit EXO-M, with the M standing for Mandarin. And notice how L is right between K and M?). So yeah, Mama, Growl, and Lit. Check ‘em out!

"Bambi" in Korean means "night rain" and in Italian it means "baby girl". He uses both these meanings in his song when he says Bambi. He even pronounces them differently for the two terms if you pay attention. So, Baekhyun is one of the best vocalists in K-pop and Korea in general and is highly regarded as the "one top soloist". It’s his last release cause he’s enlisting to the military soon. EXO is a whole different level from other idol groups now. Hi! Can i suggest exo's obsession? Its actually performed by 6 out of 9 members of exo since the two members were serving in the military and the other one is in china. It was their most recent group comeback, which was released in 2019 before they go hiatus cause of military service where another two members have enlisted in last year and one just enlisted last monday while baekhyun is also about to enlist this april.
