Aye you reacted to it 👏👏 this is my favourite band. It's pronounced Dock-in. Dokken is named after the leading singer Don Dokken. The guy in the guitar was George Lynch. George was one of the best guitar players of the 80s. This song came out in 1987. The band broke up orig ally in 1989, the same year they were nominated for a Grammy award. Also that girl in the video was fine.

Of all the songs that came out that year ....the Guitar solo in this song was in fact chosen ' Solo of the Year ' by Rock journalists & the many rock magazines back in the day sooo ya when u said thats the best solo you ever heard. It means you have a great ear for talent & i enjoyed ur reaction. How about maybe some ' Van-Halen -Aint talkin bout love ' studio version. The guitarist you just heard & Eddie Van Halen played the same bars in L.A. b4 they got to the top

Still rockin with Dokken after all these years. Check out more of their videos, they released some gems back in the 80s and Don Dokkens solo album is also worth listening too. 80s rock was amazing.

Dokken we’re a legit band who sadly got lumped in with the party rock bands of the 80s like Bon Jovi, Motley Crüe, Poison and Ratt they definitely had the ‘sound’ but their songs were deeper and more honest than those bands they also didn’t wear as much make up as some of those bands if any at all. Heaven sent is one of their best songs as is the album it comes from Back for the Attack (1987)

One of the greatest bands. Check out Icon Killer Machine....you'll love it Saw Dokken in 85. I loved them then and still do now. Thanks for the killer reaction and you're spot on about love.

I listened to all those 80s bands like Bon Jovi and Motley Crue and Warrant and Poison and Guns n Roses etc...But to me Dokken was better than all those bands. They were the heavy metal heartbreak kings. While the others sang about getting laid these guys sang about matters of the heart and not only the ballads...their rockin songs had the same simple message. And that is that love sucks....

right, dokken was different, their lyrics, intensity, just great vocals, george lynch, they were not like poison lol, they weren't tight live like judas priest or iron maiden, a lot of it was prob a bit too difficult to reproduce live they got close, their studio stuff is just great.
