Gen Xer here…this song was released when I was in Grade 10, I believe, and I loved it then. Now, the nostalgia I feel when I hear it, takes me back to school dances and driving around with boys in pick-up trucks, a bunch of young puppy love in the air!!! Bro I was a teenager when this song hit! When you heard this one start up whether it was at a dance or not you grabbed your girl or your guy and got close! The lead singer actually spent a short time as the frontman of Motley Crue. I don’t think you’ll need even 30 seconds into this one before you’re into this one.

Wow this goes back a long way. This song sounds like a typical love song but it's actually a baby in love with his mother because she is the only thing that he knows. It's part of a concept album that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

I've always loved this tune & if you want to see something cool, the comedians Jack Black & Jimmy Fallon redid this song in full costume & set up to look exactly like these two & they sing themselves & it's beautiful. Of curse they manage to get you to chuckle a bit, when they try to make the same facial expressions & hair tossing body language. Even if you watch it privately, check it out. They do a great job & I was surprised how well they both sing.

Talent, looks and great hair!!! And they can sing too! 😮❤️😮❤️😮. Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt, lead vocals and amazing guitarist. They are actually a hard rock/funk metal band. Gary sang lead for Van Halen for a while before Sammy Hagar. Nuno played guitar for Rhianna tours and Guitar Master tour with Zakk Wylde. But they still appear together as Extreme. Pornograffitti…. Great album.
