J-Hope has always admired J Cole. They met for the first time at Lollapalooza when J-Hope headlined in 2022 and decided to collab after that. The title of J-Hope's first solo album, Hope World, is a nod to Cole World. :) BTS began as a hip-hop group; their three rappers joined first and they have the most songwriting and producing credits for the group. All seven are students of older music genres, so you'll hear a ton of influences in their work. BTS' discography is crazy diverse, so enjoy the ride. 💜

I’m recommending “Chicken Noodle Soup” by J-hope & Becky G. Yes it’s their version of the classic song by DJ Webstar and Young B. This was one of the songs that inspired J-Hope to dance.

I recommend reacting to BTS song Born Singer. It is actually adapted from J.Cole’s song “Born Sinner.” BTS rewrote the lyrics to reflect their experience debuting. The song was unofficially released in July 2013. In 2022 J Cole gave BTS his approval and it was officially released on June 10, 2022, as part of their Proof album.
