Honeymoon also so underrated. Her vocals in this one r perfect. Lana has a lot of exes who were toxic af, I think it's important she portrays the cycle of abuse, people can relate. Terrence loves u refers to david Bowies brother who committed suicide. I think it was a tribute to them. She used to dream ab her fame but when she experienced the criticism and lack of privacy she felt different ab that dream. High by the beach also represents her dislike of media. Lol the magazines in the music video were like magazines talking ab her. Freak mv i think the shot of her drinking maybe koolaid is a reference to jim jones (American cult leader who killed everyone by getting them to drink drugged koolaid). She uses diff representations of diff things or people with the name Jim, sometimes referencing Jim beam alcohol. Also there's a transition in between Freak and Art deco u missed it tho! Soft ice cream in Salvatore kinda sounds like "soft i scream" idk if that was intentional. Blackest day supremacy!!! She goes through the stages of heartbreak on each verse in order.

Lanas main like things that she has done or said to be cancelled were the covid mask where it was see through and people thought it was wrong but then Lana explained that it had a plastic underneath it and to like make a joke out of it later she was caught wearing a camouflage mask making a joke out of the situation. Then her infamous instagram post “question for the culture” where she talked about how comes she gets hate for writing and singing abt her personal experience with abuse and drug abuse and other topics but what got to people is she named people saying how can they do the same and be praised for it but when i do it its wrong but some of the people she named were black like Beyoncé Nicki and doja and well there fans didn’t like her naming there favs and cancelled her for it because it was racism and also the instagram post was posted during the blm time so her being white and naming black artist got her cancelled for being racist and also cause she mentioned in a different comment responding to someone that she dated black rappers so she’s not racist and also that she dated a cop which does sound weird to say but she has apologized for it in her song “ grand father please stand on the shoulders of my father while he’s deep sea fishing” so yeah but a lot people who read the post can agree that its not racist it’s just bad that she named people. But people are making jokes out of the post calling it the “ Lana prophecy” because all the people that she named have been cancelled and the most recent one has been Nicki and people are saying Beyoncé is the next one. And then the other major one is people saying that she romanticizes abuse when she doesn’t a lot of Lana del Rey fans know that if your gonna listen to Lana s music you have to know her background or read the lyrics or look up the meaning and also know metaphors and basic poetry because her lyrics can be hard to comprehend if you dont know nothing about her. Like in tik tok people are bringing up the unreleased version of diet Mountain Dew because one of the lyrics are “ hit me and tell me your mine i don’t know why but i like it” and people are like wow she’s romanticizing abuse but its not the song is about a bad man that can cause harm to her like the drink diet Mountain Dew but she wants him so badly that she would like to change him still referencing to the drink but the whole song is simple a horrible man like diet Mountain Dew but she wants him still.

Terrance was David Bowie's brother who struggled with schizophrenia and took his life. I believe the song was written partially from David's POV to his brother.

Lust For Life is her most “cheerful” album. Great reaction. The Blackest Day is a masterpiece, of course, but Terrence Loves You is one of the most gorgeous songs I ever heard. It’s partially about David Bowie, and his brother who was locked away due to schizophrenia.
