Man, this song is great and heartbreaking. Brian May wrote it about Freddie Mercury's struggle with AIDS. Freddie was not in great health when this was recorded, and he still completely nailed the vocals!

the crazy thing is this song was happening when Freddie was close to death from aids even his bandmates were concerned for his health but Freddie propped himself up took a few shots of vodka and nailed the song's recording in ONE take. how many bands can u think of that did a song in 1 take while basically at death's doorstep? that's why i feel the song is so powerful
