It's interesting to note that they aren't much loved in Italy. I think most of it is envy, and this was a well deserved victory. If you check the lyrics, be warned that Damiano uses some slang words so Google translator probably won't be able to pick the correct meaning.

I don't know whether you're italian or not, I am and if you are you know that italian people are mostly old and do not understand rock music of that kind of clothes. Italians are pretty much conformist when it comes to fashion and attitude. They think only gay people dress up like that 🤣🤣 And it's also envy yeah. But who cares, as long as the rest of the world love Italy and italian culture even more than italiand themselves 😁😁
