The arms from xur for the warlock are popular for pvp. The xurfboard is fun. For pvp try running a shotgun for close range and something like graviton lance for longer range. GG for hanging in on the matches!

I'd recommend picking up Arbalest as it's a great utility weapon, but that's about it, nothing super spectacular at Xur this weekend unfortunately

Second to Arbalest. Has alot of utility in various dungeons mostly, but yeah aside from that theres not much this weekend but the pvp gloves and the random exotic engram. As for Thunderlord, its a good workhorse weapon and a great anti-overload weapon, when it comes to boss damage it can put up if you have nothing better, but its mostly lacking there. Still a good weapon though.

The legendary grenade launcher he is selling is really good this week. Weapons have static stats but random abilities. And exotics weapons will never change and once you buy then can be pulled from collections so don't infuse them just wait until your gear is higher and pull out a new one

Awesome! For crucible keep an eye on the radar as jf it was the rear view mirror of your car, just peek at it every second all the time the whole time! In time you'll know where everyone is with just that

As a Warframe you know what meta is all about. It’s the same in this game BUT it’s not necessary unless you’re doing the hardest content so just play around as there are loads of fun exotics around. Thunderlord is pretty great btw. Oh and everyone gets mashed on their first PvP day 😉

Thunderlord is a decent exotic for PVE, especially if there's an Arc surge. - Exotic rolls are static and they don't change. (besides the odd rarity like the Hawkmoon) Was quite interesting seeing a new player looking at Xur's inventory and such. If you spend a certain amount (I think it's 41?) of strange coins you can pick up a buff from him that gives you an extra strange coin from each activity you do that rewards them.

Crucible is why i play this game. Soem basics would be to keep an eye on your radar, keep in cover and have decend spacial awareness, you were floating around because you didnt cancel your warlock jump. I would reccomend burst glide for pvp :)

Depending on the perks, Hawkmoon is always a good weapon to pick up....also it's worth joining a clan to get rewards from hawthorn or better yet you could always make your own

Also if you haven't already I'd highly advise you to check out the Monument To Lost Lights. It's situated between the vaults at the tower for two reasons. 1. Most exotics from previous campaigns can be bought here for an Exotic Cipher and glimmer. Exotics from The Final Shape also require an Ascendent Shard. 2. Fully masterworked Legendary weapons from the ritual playlist ( Strikes, Crucible, Gambit ) can be bought here currently just for Glimmer. Previously they required more resources so you're in luck. There are some really solid weapons here to get you on your way. ALSO I'd highly advise you to get rank up in one of 3 ritual playlists. The easiest would be strikes. The current ritual weapon, a Stasis Auto Rifle is REALLY good and worth grinding for.

The Hawkmoon is a good Handcannon, if you don’t have another you like better. And different from other xotics, it rolls with different characteristics, so you can get multiple with different rolls

Just a heads up, in pvp your guns have way less accuracy when your floating. So you could either stay on the ground and shoot, or use the heat rises aspect to get better in air accuracy. There are also exotics and mods that affect you in air accuracy.

My comment disappeared, this is gonna seem more rushed and not as gentle sorry lol. Ophidians from Xur = Good in PVP, faster pull out and put away speeds, faster reloads! Its great. In PVP use a special and in PVE as well. Specials can one shot and punish in PVP. I recommend using Grav in second slot. Shot gun is good in first slot, or sniper if good aim. In PVP, using two primaries is somewhat redundant because they usually fulfill similar roles to each other. In PVE it helps you deal with chunkier targets! Primary infinite ammo weapons are mostly used for weak enemies or ammo conservation in harder difficulties. The grenade launcher Interference is a good, but powercrept boss DPS weapon. The first in last out shot gun he sells has a pretty good roll. Less optimal, but I find the Eternities Edge roll fun, surrounded and energy transfer. Surrounded is 40% more dmg if 3 enemies are near. Energy transfer is blocking gives class ability energy. The Holdfast Robes he sells has good stats if you dont have anything better! In terms of exotics, if you have the coin, get Arbalest! Top tier exotic. The other ones are fun. Hawkmoon is more of a PVP exotic. The other two are FUN, but not optimal. Just suggestions, the most important thing is that you have fun sir! :)

I really love watching you play D2, even the moments were crucible matches turn into a shit show like you experienced before, thank you for uploading this! A little tip, try to mix your loadouts a little more, try to use a primary, a special and a heavy weapon. Special weapons are all those that use green ammo. Example, you can use your Graviton Lance and try using a shotgun in primary. Or considering you got Thunderlord maybe you can equip that, use your Shotgun as secondary and use your Origin story in your primary slot

Thunderlord is a solid exotic that gets better with the catalyst. The exotic itself is static though. There are no random rolls of Thunderlord and it cannot be crafted. So every version of Thunderlord you might get after this will be exactly the same.

For PvE, you NEED Arbalist! Great Anti Barrier Champion weapon. Versatile and can be used on any subclass as it Kinetic. Plus with the Catalyst, one of the few weapons that can self proc the damage bonus is can get.

Hey man! You’ll get the hang of it all as far as crucible goes. And this is coming from a constant trials player. Also mods on weapons and armor will start making sense as well. And yes thunderlord is great! I use it all the time on certain raids.

Spend 47 total strange coins at Xur and then you can buy a strange coin booster where you get double the coins from activities. You can get the coins back quickly and buy a bunch of those items

Xurfboard can only be got from Xur. Exotics will drop as you play the game more, but you are relying on RNG to get a good roll on the stats. The advantage of Xur is that you know what you are getting. As you are only starting out, I think I'd say "Xurfboard is cool, but doesn't shoot" is my recommendation. Happy playing!

J/K, lol I say that with a lot of love too ❤❤❤ ;) I'm a PvP main and play almost exclusively solo. So, basically what you experienced is you mercy'd the other team in the first match and then the game decided it was your turn to take it up the a$$ in the next one by giving you an unwinnable situation. Not a skill issue on your end. That's just the way the odds are stacked in PvP for solo players. It keeps you coming back for another match after you get a few rewards like you're playing slots at the casino. It's fun but can be annoying once you figure out what bungie is doing. They're either stacking teams against you, throttling your connection or there could even be A.I. players on both teams to help steer the match a certain way. Aim assist probably also gets jacked with as well to throw you off. You start to notice it the more you play crucible which I have since vanilla D2.

Guardians, correct me if im wrong. Exotic weapons never change, only the hawkmoon can have different rolls, which you van only get at xur i believe every week, thundergod is a very good machine gun and the catalyst is absolutely insane on it, such as the hand canon sunshot which is insane with solar build, also for your warlock jump you have to cancel it cuz if not you’ll keep planning and loose accuracy. Your gun accuracy is better when your on the ground, and keep an eye on the radar for pvp! Idk if i was clear as english is not my natal language

Most exotics are static rolls. Sometimes their catalysts improve stats e.g. range, ammo capacity, etc. Some exotics are craftable e.g. Osteo Striga, Dead Man's Tale, Revision Zero. I think Hawkmoon is currently the only exoitc with random rolls, and Xur is the only source for it (thankfully you at least get to see the roll you're purchasing before spending your strange coins)

Also considering the Halloween event is still going I'd highly advise you to grind your ass off for the Exotic Class Item if you haven't already. Normally it can only be obtained in The Final Shape after a very difficult mission. And depending on what you type of gameplay you like you'll either love it or hate with a passion.

Check your exotics in your collection before spending strange coins. But, Xûr is a good source for new players to add exotics and good rolled weapons/ armor that you don't have.

You'll get there haha your a gamer and it's new atm. Jumping loses accuracy try short sharp jumps experiment in pve tapping jump button. For me warlock has the worst jump for beginners but I've seen some warlocks move better than both titans and hunters. You get to know better gibbs to use in pvp and pve. You were alot better than you think

@dpatriot4130 Once you get to know the maps and your abilities a little better and some of the tactics that other players use against you will get better. My advice from a veteran pvp player to a newbie pvp player is practice practice practice. Learn how to read your radar and it will make a big difference. Good luck in the crucible or whatever pvp mode that you play in Destiny 2 .
