yeah blood mtn does stay busy with traffic. but its one of those weekend early morning riding roads if you want to rip thru it while others are waking up. ridden that road a lot of times..looks like the got rid of the rumple strips in the mustard finally considering they had put it down about 5yrs ago to keep people from cutting the mustard with all the head on wrecks that were going on. but yeah gsp and the counties love to hang out on the road for sure...stay safe out there

I get up there between 730 and 8AM. The last time I was there, a local told me the traffic and cops show up at 930 or so.

If you're riding it, watch out for oil on the road. There's been a bunch of oil let out right in the ideal lines for bike riders.

@@Antprilia. Richard B Russell Scenic Byway. Very close to blood mountain. I live just outside atlanta and I have ridden all these roads in north georgia many many times before. so good. I hope to catch you one day when you're in Georgia :)

Hey brother. My track season is over for this year, but do you have any interest in going down to Barber or VIR next year? I usually bring my RS660 but I might bring the panigale out sometime next year as well. It would cool to see the RSV4 out there ripping it up. Me and couple other dudes from the knoxville area usually do several track days a year. It'd be cool if you came out. Just food for thought.

@Antprilia. here lately, I've mostly been riding on track but I'd like to hit more canyons. I just moved here last year and I'm still trying to learn where all the good spots are. I used to come to the dragon for car events back in the 2000s but ive only ridden it on a bike once. I'd like to go back some time before the end of the year. Unfortunately my track season is over for the year but I still ride street all year long. I'll definitely swing by your shop at some point soon. Its always good to talk to people that love bikes.

Dragon is my favorite. I like riding hwy 95 by Melton Hill Damn. I had fun on blood mountain but it's too far. the cherohola skyway is a lot of fu!! There's soo many nice roads out here, nc and georgia!!!
