It was f**cking hard to pass him, and he kept following us so easily..." 😉 I

Doesn't it overheats on this long rides,especially forced/hard riden like this ? 2 : Did you tried '90-'98 Bandits ? What do you think of them ? 3 : Schaaf sounds german. Nice ride. In 2014 after having watched lots of Alps Riding vidoes I contacted a guy down there named Derpanzer Bau. I went there for a month from the UK and rode (& drank) with them. I learned so much and it made me a better, faster rider. Love the Alps. wish I could live close to there. France & Italy have way more respect for 2 wheels than the British. In the UK everyone has Island mentality. They all own their little piece of road. And I agree, Italians are crazy but we love them!

#schaaf you're such a great rider , great cornering ! I would love yo meet up and ride some day . Btw I'm just 21 (yes i think that's young), and I've ridden R1,CBR1000RRR-SP, ZH2, Ducati Panigale V4, Daytona 675r, R6, Ninja ZX 10, ninja Zx6, Ninja 300, RE 350,Himalayan,650s, t100, and speed triple, i had owned a R1, but sold it for other reasons and investments, and got a cycle instead of the bike, and now i am looking forward to getting a Trident 660 , or the Triumph Speed triple, cuz even after riding all i have ridden, ( even been to track a few times) is that no matter what, 200hp is not needed , and all these bikes are great, these 200hp r1s , Panigales, e.t.c, are pretty useless from ergonomics, useless low end, in the street what i suggest is the street triple, or the speed triple . Cuz : Such a beautiful sound , the exhaust sound changes as the rev increases , from sophisticated in the low to the roaring in the high , Mechanically (a mechanical engineer here) , and as a bike enthusiast, 3 Cyls are the best when it comes to power delivery, low end torque + top end rush , and due to triumphs T-plane crankshaft (perfect secondary balance) this thing revs very high for a engine that size , and reaches redline quicker than any I4... I've plenty experience, owned an R1 (sold last year and got a cycle), r6, zx 10r, the busa, Zh2, RSV4, panigale, cbr 1000, and z900 , daytona 675, street triple 675RS, RE bikes,and what not , but i find three cyls the best among inline 4s and 2s (Vs are better ). (Except some radicals i4s ).

I film at 60fps, with 1/120th shutter speed, going same or faster speeds but it doesn't feel so fast as in your videos.. How come

60 fps destroys the motion blur

@@Schaaf dammit. I had such thoughts in my mind as well, would I see difference if I move to 50fps? I also enjoy stabilization finally, but I guess it also takes a way some emotions

Hey! I love your riding mate! What do the Austrians, Swiss and Germans think about loud exhuasts? Because we dutch hear all kinda horror stories about fines and bikes being confiscated because of loud pipes...
@Schaaf8 жыл бұрын
thanks Alexander! I can only speak for us Austrians. Here you should definitely have your dB eater installed or at least always carrying on you so that you can install it right on the spot should they catch you without one.

Got to love the CB500 for the twisties! Totally appreciate the brake comment though. After jumping off a twin disc bike & onto the CB it's a world of difference.Great vid none the less. Thanks for posting.

thanks man. Actually the CB500 brakes very well once the brake gets a good maintenance. I did that the year after that. Huge difference.

Maybe it's my master cylinder that's just a bit tired. I've got a 1999 CB500 with EBC HH pads & HEL lines (& no air) but it still takes a bit of lever action for the brakes to properly bite. I've also got an '07 FZ1N too though so it takes a bit of getting used to when jumping back onto the CB. Pic of my babies: i.imgur.com/e8uvLoE.jpg
