I totally understand that feeling! That's how I felt when I took the MSF Basic Rider Motorcycle course at 62 years of age. Never been on a motorcycle before. I was so excited, I couldn't sleep! It was the most fun I had in decades. Really felt like a kid on Christman eve!! Thank you for sharing.

That was awesome to watch, I was out there last Friday as well. Despite the total costs being a lot, this was probably the cheapest track day you will find in Texas and pretty fun track too. Keep it up. 🤙

Thanks a lot! Yeah luckily the tires on the bike were almost new and I already had boots and gloves. Cresson is a really fun track and I'll be going back

That's some damn fine riding after 30 years! I was a courier (despatch rider) in Washington, DC in the late 70's/early 80's and rode a CX500 which I see in your picture. I sold it after I changed jobs and now I'm thinking about getting one again. I know it's 40 years old but dang that engine was sweet and there's some pretty nice ones to be found so I'm looking... How did you like the bike?

Thanks for your comment. I probably had four CXs over my despatch riding career as they were cheap, reliable and practical. I'd get another for nostalgia's sake but if I was still despatching I'd get a CBR/ CB500. check out the video where I compare my old despatch bikes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5CldZqlbbuNgKs

Almost 54 now. I took a 10 year break away from bikes all together, but have been doing the same lately. Healing up a broken leg and getting ready to do a track day on November 6th.
