First time out at sea on my new Hobie Outback Kayak

Since it was my first time at sea on a kayak, the plan was to stick close to the mainland(Singapore) and fish around the mangroves at Pasir Ris. However, I didn't get any bites so i made a quick dash to the island of Pulau Ubin.

@@barrabran I believe if u hit like the 0.2 to 0.4 tide. Almost every pot hole in Ubin mangrove will be a Barra Playground. Lol

What rod and reel and rubber u use? Huge fan btw

I usually use Keitech 2.5 - 3.3 inch. Jig head is 1/4 oz 3/0. Rod and reel in the video I don't usually use in saltwater. That's a tatula Medium heavy rod with a daiwa sv tw. But normally I would use a medium rod with a stradic fl 2500
