Case here is information The player can lock her out. Otherwise, Chica will simply stand there until the player checks the camera or the power runs out. If they check the camera, Chica will be triggered into attacking. An easy way to check if Chica is behind the closed door is to turn the light on and you will clearly see her in the window.

Caseoh, as a veteran fnaf playet, I'll assure you this. Checking up on freddy is the ONLY way to actively delay him. If you don't, he will actively harrass your door. For foxy, you dont need to have a direct eye on Foxy to Deter him, only to have had the cameras on to begin with, but you do have to eye freddy. The other two animatronics can be kept track of through sound cues alone. This was the method prevalent in the OG fnaf, but take it with some salt, as I'm not totally sure it works the same in this game.
