I was hoping that there would be more incentive to look at the cameras in this one, since every FNAF game seems to ultimately boil down to never actually tracking the puppets for its dominant strategy. Adding a jumpscare to the cameras I think was a mistake, you should feel some kind of safety from the footage itself, a bit of odd coziness that lulls you into a false sense of security, and when you drop the camera you are at risk of getting got.

I disagree, I think it is a good mechanic because it is one more thing to worry about in an otherwise very easy game. If you stare for too long they move quickly and temporarily screw up the camera. I think it is neat
