When you are using the turrets in the gears games you can hold the reload button to quickly cool it.

My reason for liking the sniper rifle is that in later games, 4 and 5, every single weapon has a unique execution animation With the sniper, you flip it in the air, grab it by the barrel, and slam it vertically down on a crawling enemy Otherwise...I'm not a fan of snipers

Also...the Hammerburst does more damage than the lancer In later games, its a burst fire weapon with iron sights
