I have a love-hate relationship with this episode, I love the interaction with the teenagers and the group in general, the relationships you can have and seeing Sean and Daniel in a more welcoming place and the emotional weight of each scene and the tension that is built , but Daniel always ends up stressing me out at different times, even though I understand the whole situation he's going through, he doesn't help much in making me sympathize with him

Yeah, I don't understand people who say that nobody can be mad at Daniel because he is just a kid, I have a younger brother (6 years difference, just like with Sean and Daniel) and we fought a lot when he was around Daniel's age, but it never escalated that much and we were both much more understanding

I mean… your relationship would probably be much more strained and escalate into more hostility than usual if you both were on the run for killing a police officer, watched your dad get shot to death, watched your puppy get eaten, kept accidentally hurting your loved ones everywhere you went, were constantly homeless and pooping in buckets, couldn’t trust anyone, and your brother developed telekinesis that messed with his health, his perception of himself, and tended to cause accidental explosions 😅 I feel like Daniel’s erratic behavior makes sense.

- That ending always gets me! I was so speechless the first time I played this episode and then we had to wait over 3 months for Episode 4!😅 - The song at the end is one of my favourites from this game and the lyrics can be seen from both of the brother's POV: "I never meant to hurt you, please never go away" - Daniel "I did it all for you don't say I never tried, I want to protect you so that you never die" - Sean - Of course both brothers deserve better but I just feel so sorry for Sean with everything he's had to go through, he's always getting the short end of the stick! - Can't wait for the next episode!😊

I love this episode in the game and that cliffhanger is one of the best of all the LiS games... the music, the way it is filmed... and that last shot! Life is Strange 2 is honestly my favorite overall of the LiS games. True Colors has amazing graphics, the best voice acting, and some great writing... so it is a close 2nd. Honestly, I love all the LiS games!

It was a pretty huge cliffhanger, so many theories from what would happen in Episode 4, most people theorised a Jailbreak, or Daniel trying to find Karen by himself.

Love your channel, found it through your ds2 play through with Amber! On 'so it goes', it was on the light board in the bedroom in ep 1. In that episode, Sean had a conversation with his dad about reading Kurt Vonnegut..'So it goes' is a phrase used in Vonnegut's book Slaughterhouse Five, where it's repeated whenever anything doesn't quite go to plan, or whenever death is mentioned. That book is about a guy who, every so often, accidentally travels through time, repeatedly going through trauma and different life events. I always thought it was a reference to Max in LiS 1 :)

Life is Strange 2 is a game that truly opened my heart to the world. When it came out six years ago, I didn’t really like it that much. I felt the story wasn’t all that relatable. But I gave it another try, and I fell in love with it. It got me interested in hiking, art, and traveling. It’s unbelievable how much my life has changed because of that game. Since then, I’ve finished a degree in design, completed multiple solo long-distance hikes-carrying my tent and food supplies-and worked two summers in a row picking up trash after a festival with a hippie family. I genuinely believe that if not for this game, none of that would have ever happened. I love Emma’s playthrough. It feels so natural, and I get to see a different perspective on the decisions. It’s really cute how she treats Sean and Daniel. It’s clear that she wants the best for them

2:10:27 Emma, I like the way you see Sean and want to protect him. Most players kiss Cass and go straight to the tent without hesitation. It's actually interesting because if Sean goes to the tent with her, in the end he ends up not feeling satisfied with himself, even though Cass is fine.

That ending has me gasp out loud every time 💦 Also I didn't know Daniel could potentially mess with Cassidy like that omg! I didn't like either romance options in LiS2 so I never bothered with them, so I guess Dan had no reason to toy with them, haha 💦💦💦

I just got here so i've not watched it fully yet. But ye there's many ways it can go depending on romance or not, but even without romance you can "screw up". Which is a good thing, gives some replay value, even more so for watching lps :)

I'm honestly surprised you guys also do draw the S's in school. I always assumed it was just an American thing, I've asked my dad who's 58 now and he said he also drew the S's when he was in school. I'm so curious where it started or came from. Also, the red wood trees are huge at the national forest there's a part where the trail goes through a tree. Apparently in the past the people cutting them down decided this 1 tree was better off not being cut down but cut a hole through, so they didn't have to walk around it. Unfortunately, the whole inside of the tree people tagged/carved their named on it. On the plus side however, some the carved names are around the 40 ,50, 60 etc. which imo just puts into perspective of time and how long that trees been around. where are the people now that once visited the tree etc.

Great episode! I was working on something while watching this, so not much commentary, but I really disliked Daniel throughout this episode 😒 Honestly, I disliked him through most of this story and for some reason this game felt like the most impactful out of the series.

Very happy to see this posted! I feel kind of … lost, in limbo. I want more of Double Exposure, but there is still a fair bit of days left before we get any 😅 so its nice to have something to keep me going before the 29th 😄

In my case it's harder to watch these since yt keep recommending exposure all the time, i've had to unsub temporarily from many of whom i follow to avoid spoilers. Since i want to wait until the full game is out and enjoy it for myself. Then i'll watch lets plays after. But since i've watched nearly all lis lps on yt i keep getting them recommended including exposure :p But ye i'm hyped for the full release so i can enjoy the lps with ya'll.

I do think it’s kind of pointless to try to shelter Sean. Dude was already planning to be intimate with the girl he crushed on in the beginning. Lyla, Sean, and their friends already smoke and drink, if you read the messages and his journal you’ll see. Chapter 3 really is the only chapter of this game where you get to be more outgoing and do stuff. It’s funny tho seeing how flustered Cassidy gets if you refuse getting in with her after she rizzes you up lmao

We have to remember he was only 9 when Sean took him to this pot farm, working like a slave, no kids to play, after his dad died, his dog died , his best friend Chris... And Sean left him increasingly alone... When we start to play there was 1 month psychological damage. Daniel is only 9... We couldn't prevent it. Great play! ❤️
