The “new player” content is so underrated. I think people forget that we all started somewhere! I wish these videos were out 15 years ago when I first picked up a marker

Great video. As a newish player myself I have to recommend bringing a microfiber cloth. It's just nice to have in your pocket for those times you need a goggle wipe. Also,as stated,don't be intimidated. Everyone's there to have fun and most seasoned players like helping the new guys and take it easy on the kids. Be warned... This sport can be addicting and before you know it you'll be out there in the fancy mask with the fast gun yourself.

Been playing for years but i think its important for us to help out the walk on and rental players and make the sport welcoming. The guys at my local fields usually do an awesome job at this. Walking on the field for the first time is really intimidating. Especially if you're agg'd up and they're in jeans and a sweatshirt with their rental equipment.

Definitely! I like to give a player my marker sometimes but say they have to promise to shoot someone or something like that.

The sport is always welcoming to everyone also don't be intimidated by people with self equips most of them see rentals and know not to go tournament mode on you guys jus go out there and have some fun

To the new players out there dont be scared by the people with there own gear. Most good players like going against people of their skill level and not newer players

I try to go easy on newer players. I know it can be intimidating so I don’t play the same as I would against another Pro.

Great question! So each team starts on opposite sides of the field. You will want to look at your teammates before the match as well to see who is on your side. Some fields might even have armbands you can use that are different colors.

I can’t wear my glasses when playing, so I bought some disposable contact lenses for about £6 for 30. I do have to wear reading glasses when filming my gas tank though, but I’m getting old.

U should never buy paintball from Walmart. U never know how long the balls have been sitting they will get harder mom and dad and they will not break ez like they should. And always check to see if the balls are not broken or has like a oily residue inside the bag will make your balls flying all the directions you don't want them to. Don't let you or your kids be intimidated by other people there with guns cuz they all shoot I would just about the same distance and they all should be on semi-auto not fully automatic when playing I would suggest a neck wrap and glows probably going to be the most sensitive places to get shot. Next I would have to say is safety on the course I'm off the course for young players they forget you might have to remind them put the barrel condom on and let the young kids at their own pace Don't force them to run up front at first. Most experienced players take it easy on kids they're not looking to shoot the kids they're looking for experienced players that could have a good fight with so Mom and Dad don't be upset if accidents to happen. players you should not have a problem going asking questions . I would always bring a change of clothes a towel or at least a towel and an extra pair of shoes. And don't be upset sometimes you shoot somebody they don't call themselves out cuz they don't feel it cuz sometimes can't fill the balls break . Yes sometimes there is cheaters. So always call out your outs so the refs can hear you or other players can hear. IN PAINTBALL WE HAVE A honor System .We DON'T LIKE CHEATERS OR SEEING NEW PLAYERS BEING SHOT AT CLOSE RANGE THEY WILL BE THROWN OUT OR THEY WILL HAVE A BAD DAY CALLED PLAYERS Revenge .I even seen were cheaters get shot in the back all day by their own party for cheating. And in worst case scenario ask for a ticket for another day to come back because it might be a private property and might not be a bunch what they call walk ons or you just might going to have to try a different park
