aespa is such a crazy girl group to start with! 😂 their concept is heavy and their music isn't GP-friendly. i do admit that drama is quite tame compared to their other title tracks, but it's the song that captured a lot of international fans. on the other hand, spicy captured sokor after next level. i think you'll enjoy their recent double-title track comeback with supernova and armageddon ! supernova is catchy as hell and armageddon's production is just craaaazzzyyy.

I’m not an aespa stan but their recent releases, I’ve been OBSESSED so I highly recommend checking out “Supernova” and “Armageddon”. If you want another girl group recommendation, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Everglow and Redvelvet (rv is under sm just like aespa). For Everglow I recommend checking out “First” and “Ladida” and for Redvelvet I recommend checking out “Chill Kill” and “Psycho” I think you’ll love these songs/groups!

I only got into K-pop last year and listened to almost all BG's, UNTIL Drama and Aespa came along, then it was soon followed up by Kill Chill and Red Velvet!! I listen to more GG music now, however it's pretty select still. There truly is something in SM's water, because I really love so many SM artists and their music!! Aespa is now my top favorite GG, highly recommend their recent album Armageddon, it's a no-skip. The title tracks are Supernova and Armageddon.

It's been three days, so it's probably too late to provide this advice, but if you are BRAND NEW to girl groups and you want to maintain this level of intensity in your reactions, let me recommend a few videos. Of course, you may want to deep dive into any number of girl groups, and those you should probably do chronologically but if you just want to dive in without worrying about back stories and whatnot, try these. It's funny for me when someone says that they don't listen to girl groups. I guess it's because Girl Groups are about 99% of what I listen too. And K-Pop Girl Groups are my favorites!
