in amygdala yoongi tells us a little about his life, the chote represents an accident he had in his debut era that marked him and the wound represents the birth of AGUST-D, which is his alter ego It was born from all those events that he had in his life and through it he was able to get a little out of all that frustration and anger that he had at that time.

amygdala yoongi was hit by a car while he was delivering that was basically in his training days what was traumatic about the accident was not his shoulder injury but the fact that he kept it secret from everyone because he was to afraid to be kicked out of the bant because of it , he was forced to perform with that injury

ok so amygdala (song and video) is about yoongi's real life. the first two connect to amygdala but the storylines are fictional. haegeum means to lift the ban and daechwita is traditional military music. bts music is about real topics about their lives, emotions, opinions, trauma, society etc so lyrics are majority of the time the main focus and should always be paid attention to. they do all genres but hip hop is their base genre they debuted as a hip hop group. they all write and produce their own music and have been since predebut. all 7 members have solo music again since predebut. i wrote out a much longer comment explaining the details of the music videos but youtube deleted it. you will learn more as you go if you continue to dig deeper into bts i especially recommend not only sticking to title tracks bts b sides are even deeper.

He got an accident pre-debut in 2010 when he was a trainee as a delivery man (since he was poor he couldn't afford just being a trainee and live his life due to bighit's limited money at that time, but trainee's aren't aloud to work, so he did it in secret, afraid of being kicked out, and completely broke his shoulder without telling anyone, danced and endured for 10 YEARS until he finally did the surgery in 2020. The scar in agust D universe is symbolic, it represents his hatred and struggles, since it's self inflicted. In both daechwita and Haegeum he tries to kill this version of himself that represent this hatred, the one that is slave to capitalism, KZbin, flexing and money. In haegeum he laughed when he pulled the gun at him, which mean he isn't gonna truly die. He killed him twice and he still gonna live again no matter what. Amygdala is very personal as it's not some kind of symbolism universe like the other two, it's his real life story, everything in the video actually happened to him, tho both daechwita and Haegeum are connected to it

Hopefully your taking in the lyrics. Cause what’s important to Suga are his lyrics. They always tell a story. His songs are written, composed and produced by him. He’s an amazing rapper. But all of BTS are so talented. There’s no script written for them. They are involved in every aspect of their music. Which is why I’m a BTS fan but not so much a k pop fan. . This video is about peasant Suga fighting with his past self. It’s actually a pretty deep song. No girl group in k pop could ever compete against BTS

The amount of symbolism, pop culture references, Korean culture references, and backstory could be an entire college course that includes psychological concept from Carl Jung. LOL Seriously, I don't know where to start. Another song closely related to this, but not part of this trilogy, is called Shadow. It's about the battle inside himself. Amygdala references back to where the split inside himself began and where it intensified.

Agustd is suga alter ego, so there are 2 sounds released long before daechwita named Agustd where he responds to those who have looked down on him and Give it to me where he talks about money, success, fame, .. basically everything that underground peoples can dream of and in both he plays a blond delinquent then comes daechwita where the blond guy is now successful and become a king with a scar (which is crazy cause during Korea's dynastys era you cannot be one at least you have a perfect skin) but his true-self come here as a peasant to kill him (you can see in the start of the MV that when he's in the market he make eye-contact with the butcher to seat a deal and at the end of the MV the butcher who is the executer come to free him and give him a gum to kill the king), so after that in haegum the peasent who now became a boss got corrupted (he grew a new scar) so another him come here as a thief (the MV was made in Thailand in a historic place called the Thiefs Market) without adding details he succeeded once again in killing his ego but before he dies you can see that he's laughing because he knows that despite the number of times he gonna be killed he knows that he will reappear and that he will be still stuck in him (also in the song he's targeting Kpop and fans who make controversy about idols), finally in amygdala he talk about his traumas and stories before debut (mother heart surgery, dad liver cancer, moto accident, he lived with a injured shoulder for 9years,..) so with all of that he showed us how his scar appeared and that he can't escape those emotions they are forever engraved in him, now if you want to understand more about the songs or the story you can check the theories on Twitter or vid explanation on KZbin, they are also interviews of his latest album he did in differents show like IU's palette, suchwita lol, Disney+,etc This man is really a genius like he said in daechwita hahha all what you saw in the MVS was directed, produced, composed, writted and played by himself so I hope you dig more on his work (its very huge and deep with lot of symbolisms, references, studies, backstories and meanings) as solo or with his group (BTS), he may be going hard on his songs but in real his an adorable little kitty also know as Lil meow meow in the fandom, then I hope I was able to help you with those few informations and I'm sorry for any mistakes, I'm not a native English speakers and I used a lil bit of google trans too hahha, see you 💜

the black room is a trap of bad memories that Yoongi can't get out of. lives the tragedies of the past, as in Groundhog Day. the scar Suga inflicted on himself was the Suga who was stuck in the memory. and continues to hurt himself, not finding the strength in himself to learn from the past and free himself from the black room. Suga's words from the film Road to D Day about Amigdala: "I wanted to tell you how I got a scar over my eye from DAECHWITA and Haegeum. in a sense, we ourselves are responsible for our scars and wounds. from the first arrow of trouble you cannot dodge. but when the second arrow flies at you, you just stand there and wait for the blow. because you didn't learn the lessons the first time." Тhis means that when Suga immerses himself in the sad moments of the past again and again, it is tantamount to how he's doing the scar on his eye himself. in a figurative sense. therefore we are shown a repetition of the scene of the accident with the car and then the knife in the hands of Suga in Amigdala. so we have a trilogy. in DAECHWITA two Suga's with the scars fighting each other. In Haegeum, Suga tries to kill his alter ego. In Amigdala, on the contrary, he's tries to save himself. these are all the experiences that tormented Min Yoongi. inner struggle with oneself. attempts to destroy and kill oneself / attempts to save and healing oneself.

I'v e heard that Haegum is like a mafia group in Korea. They can do anything without getting trouble with the police. Agust D tells ux about the Injustice, various addictions and something else. Daechwita is a traditional Korean music genre from the military or something, and he also sampled the melody from that song.

Suga (Agust-d) came from humble beginnings. He says, I rose from a ditch to a King. Like all BTS members, each one has had to come to terms with adjusting to life once they became successful: money, fame, privilege. SUGA has had internal battles with his initial greed and what he really values in life, beyond success, fame and money. It's the story of his internal fight within himself. The King is his alter-greedy ego. Also, there are a lot of historical references in Daewchita - you'll need to google to help you understand: Daewchita, Joeson Dynasty, Bang PD, BTS's experience with debut shows... Don't feel bad that you don't get it all. There is a story line that runs through BTS's music - their real life experiences. Just enjoy the music for now, and as they say, study and follow your dreams.

Agust D aka Suga is a lyrical genius and unless you really follow him and BTS you probably wouldn’t understand the symbolism behind these songs so don’t worry too much if you’re a bit confused and just enjoy them for the masterpieces they are 😊💜

Just discovered your channel today because of BTS. Very surprised that for someone who likes girl groups you went to Agust D. In this persona he is a savage rapper. I am pretty sure you would like BTS as a group. Can I recommend maybe watching a live performance of Magic Shop. I think that it showcases their vocals well, their cuteness too, and the youngest member Jungkook wrote it to comfort ARMY. They are adorable 💜 Upu are not stupid. It is hard to understand if you don't know the background. As short as possible explanation. Amygdala shows the birth of his Agust D persona. With BTS he has to be a little more careful what he says. As Agust D he can be raw and aggressive. He pours all his anger, greed for success, etc into Agust D songs. He had a bike accident when he was a trainee in 2012 and did not tell anyone cos he was scared that he wouldn't get to debut. He finally told Big Hit and got surgery in 2020. Daechwita - the mad king is his persona that was angry and greedy for success, it fed his lyrics and rap that made him successful. But nowhe has money and success he has found it is not everything after all. He wants to end the greedy persona. He shoots him but we don't see the body. Us that persona dead? In Haegum that persona that won is the police detective. You think he is the good character at the start and the killer is bad. But the detective is the greedy, power hungry bad character still there in Suga. Once again he makes a deal with the executioner to hide the gun and this time he kills off the scarred greedy persona for good possibly. The new free Suga has no scar. Suga himself has said that he is more at peace now and finds pleasure in very simple things like nice coffee, a sun rise etc. Is the angry, greedy persona gone? Is this the end of Agust D persona as he is no longer needed by Suga?
