Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole! BTS is a literal gem in the music industry and you will understand why the more you listen to them and see their personalities. They came from a company that struggled financially to the point of bankruptcy. They worked day and night without breaks, cut from broadcasts, to all live in one bedroom. For one of their early albums, they had to create it in a small garage…but their hard work as not in vain. They sold the legendary Wembley Stadium in just 90 minutes for 2 nights in 2019, Rose Bowl and even So-Fi. BTS is not your typical western boyband. They don’t talk about girls and love (Now they don’t do that anymore which is why their fanbase has grown and now consists of mostly adults and even people in their 50s and older. In their early days they did have the school boy crush concept, but apart from that they also sung about the problems and corruption of the South Korean school system, something other K-pop groups never did at the time) but rather touch on subjects like the journey towards loving yourself, the troubles of the youth, loss, mental health, government corruption ( like their song Spring Day for example which has a deep connection to the Sewol Ferry Disaster in which more than 300 people, mostly children, passed away while the government tried to hide the incident and even blacklist the families of the victims. The explanation by Italian ARMY is the best one to see btw) and many more. They also have a very big male following (I myself am a male ARMY :D) They even touch on philosophy, literature and psychological concepts. For example, ON is the title track of their 2020 album Map of the Soul: 7 (fun fact: it was the best selling album in 2020 with 4 million physical copies sold in it’s first week, and is currently the best selling album in South Korean history) which is inspired by swiss philospher Carl Jung’s theories and the three archetypes that he described as the persona, shadow and ego. They also have a fictional storyline called the Bangtan Universe, which is a huge section to dive into. It involves MV’s, books, notes and many more, all connected to create a cohesive storyline. As of now, they sadly won’t release any music since they’ll be serving the mandatory Korean Army from 2022 to 2025 when they’re expected to return. 2 members have enlisted so far. In 2022 they told us that they will take a break from group work and each pursue their solo career. 5 members released solo albums, 2 more have yet to release their solo work. I hope you’ll continue diving into their music and also watch Taylor Nakamoto’s introduction to BTS. You’ll understand everything and it’ll make you understand why BTS is so special.

There is so much talk about BTS fans being 10 thru 20 year olds that I think it's about time we Silver Army's make ourselves known to stop the dismissive attitude that BTS only caters to younger fans. I saw them at Wembly and had an outer body experience!! It's not just the Tannies (who are obviously sublime), it's also having army around you and feeling part of something truely special. BTS is not just about great singers, great choreo and great songs - it's a philosophy about loving yourself and becoming a person who can work hard, strive for success despite failure or difficulties, and value yourself and others. This is not just talk, BTS has literally saved hundreds of thousands of people from mental pain and suffering. They have inspired countless deeds and projects to improve life for others and contributed millilons to various charities. Sounds far fetched? That's what people say before they fall down the rabbit hole. After that they say 'thank god I found them'. When you become a BTS fan you gain a family of millions. Two armys from different parts of the world can come across each other and they will both instantly have a bond of philosophical understanding. Every age, every culture, belief system or social strata - there is no BTS demographic. Thankyou for your open-minded reaction.

The first one to drop to the floor was J-hope. He actually does some of the lead choreography dance teaching. The second one to jump over was Jimin. He is one of the second dancers. Beautiful solos. The one that you thought was cool...is our Golden Maknae, meaning he is the youngest. He is also our main vocalist and dancer. He is one of 4 in our vocal line. They write most of their own music, direct the videos. RM is the leader of the group. He is the translater for the group as he is the only one who can fluently speak English. He learned English by watching Friends. You should watch their collabs with Nikki Manag in Idol, they have multiple collabs with Coldplay. The last collab with Coldplay is with Jin, The Astronaut, which he asked Chris Martin to help him write for ARMY before he went off to the military.

Can confirm that seeing them live is a life changing experience! My first BTS concert was the MetLife Speak Yourself tour and the most recent was opening night of suga’s Agust D D Day tour! The crowd is *insane*. Not only during the concert (the energy is ridiculous and I had to call out of work the day after the Suga concert because I had lost my voice just absolutely losing my mind and yelling the lyrics as loudly as I could) but beforehand too! The ARMY is just such a positive and wonderful group of people. I went to both concerts alone and I’ve never felt more at home surrounded by strangers. ARMYs will bring along “freebies” before the concert that they’ll hand out in line so no army leaves without a token (like photocards, bookmarks, stickers, banners, flags, friendship bracelets etc) to remember the night by in case some can’t afford to buy merch. So many will bring extra food and snacks and water to hand out in line too just in case other army’s need it. There was a girl that ended up having a panic attack during the speak yourself soundcheck and an entire group of strangers around her rallied and walked her through it and got her cold water and it just……there’s no way to describe how much I love both the group and the fandom.

BTS are heavily involved in writing, producing, and composing their music since the beginning. Their discographies are vast in multiple genres and topics (mental health, social injustice, self-love, bullying, female empowerment, etc). The reasons why BTS has so many fans ranging from age 2-80 are because of their relatable and deep, meaningful lyrics that touch people's souls, and also their undying love, passion, and dedication for their fans and their art. I used to not care much about lyrics but BTS made me appreciate the impact their lyrics have and the authenticity from the music that they created themselves. Now I can't really love a song wholeheartedly if the lyrics suck. BTS truly taught me how to appreciate music correctly. Please react to "Black Swan MV", "Fake Love MV", and "Dope MV"

I have been an ARMY for 7 years now. I finally was able to see them for the first time in LA for their PTD Show in 2021. I was blown away! I got so emotional I cried during their performance of Black Swan. Before the show I could hear sound check and it felt so surreal that it was them. I thought two nights of this and I would be happy for life. Well the following April they were in Las Vegas and I went with 3 friends I made in LA! It was the BEST Birthday gift ever!! Funny side story: I was asked out on a date while at the Casino at my hotel and declined explaining I already had a date front row with 7 gorgeous men from South Korea. The show was incredible!! Spending time with ARMY and BTS is honestly such a blessing. We are so respectful of each other and have so much fun together. The second night I was sitting parallel to the main stage where the guys got on the trolley and I was in awe! My favorite 7 right there up close. I will never ever forget a moment of any of my concert experiences with them! I am so grateful I was able to go. Memories of a lifetime for sure and you will read 1000’s more like mine or better! There is no bad seat in a BTS concert! You leave just mind blown and you actually experience post concert sadness just waiting for a chance to see them and experience the love again. 💜💜💜

The ratio of men & women is close. I saw every type of person imaginable at the concert too, for what its worth 🙂 Subbed. I saw BTS May 12, 2019. It was Mothers Day in Chicago, and it rained the entire day! Ot was one of if not the best concerts I've ever been to and I saw Prince back in the day! The did their entire show despite the rain and no one fell, only a couple of minor slips of the feet. It was AMAZING. The performed for 3 hours. Recently I saw Suga in Chicago and even performing alone his concert lasted very close to 3 hours and it was just Suga!

First off, welcome! We are always glad to add to the ranks of the ARMY! Even after 10 years we still have new fans and that's incredible! You really can't go wrong with ANY song from them or from a single member or unit from BTS. As for who they're catering to, it's actually really frowned upon in Korea to show anything that might be considered "risque", so you'll see ARMY lose it over bare shoulder or abs. You also might find yourself succumbing to, oh who am I kidding? I haven't met an ARMY yet who hasn't found themselves succumbing to it. ARMY has labeled it as The Jimin Effect. It doesn't matter if your male or female, or your sexual preference. Jimin gets everyone. 💜 Have fun tumbling down the BTS rabbit hole with us!

The latest live performance of this was their Busan concert where I was blessed enough to be able to attend as my first BTS concert. It was wild!!!I was hyped up one minutes and crying the next. The best ever,! no amount of words can describe that show, although that is nothing new for BTS as we all know a BTS concert is a total perfect package so that a 3 hr concert would only go in a flash. I can't imagine what a 2025 OT7 concert woulb be like. I can only hope they all come back from enlistment all healthy.

They are all Song Writers, Composer and Producers every single member is a 'Full Member of the South Korean Copyright Association' which is extremely hard to achieve. They have complete creative freedom unlike other's within the the Kpop industry. Heck they've even been given shares in their company. They are true and extremely talented artists.

3:54 That has to be one of the best pronunciations of "Jeon Jungkook" I've heard from anyone trying to say JK's name for the first time. You either have a really good sense and feel for languages, or you looked up how to pronounce his name. Both are impressive, since very rarely do we see someone covering K-pop and looking up how to pronounce names, even in the mainstream media (TV, successful KZbin channels, etc.)

My first scheduled BTS concert was Map of the Soul but the tour got cancelled due to COVID-19. Upon hearing they were holding 4 concerts in LA in Dec 2021, after 2 years, I volunteered as tribute for the BTS ticket hunger games and scored for Day 3 & 4. It was the most amazing experience of my life. ARMY are the friendliest, funniest, and most diverse fandom in the world. You can guess that when they came to Vegas in April 2022 I had new ARMY friends and we painted the town purple for two more nights of BTS. It was my first ever visit to Vegas. It didn't stop as I visited Chicago for the first time to see J-Hope at Lollapalooza. I saw SUGA's D-Day concert 5 times, New York x2, Rosemont x2 and LA. This doesn't count all the theater simulcasting and online live viewings. The energy, the personalities, the talent, the songs,.....and they are the best eye candy ever..

First of all, Thank you for reacting to more than one song by BTS. I am a 67 year old who just adores BTS, = 5 years. I gre up listening to Country Music, old Country, never had a favorite of any of current Artist, until BTS. Why BTS? Their music, they’re funny, they make you think, cry, especially their Sincerity. They have not changed since Debut and they are now celebrating 10 years as BTS. There are quite a few short Documentaries about BTS. My favorites are the one done by XCELESTE, there is no reading. There are other good ones, which are more current, but I feel they don’t portray the beginnings of BTS. My all time favorites are, The Rise of Bangtan. I would love to see your reaction to, Run BTS, Live in Busan. Also during this Concert, the Rappers, RM, Suga and JHope performed Cypher 3, I promise, you will not be disappointed in both of these suggestions. I did subscribe, hoping to hear more reactions to BTS.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
