In opening 10, Luffy wears a t-shirt with the number 56. Why ? Because in japanese, 5 can be said "go" and 6 "mu". So 56 is gomu, like the gomu gomu no mi which gives to Luffy his powers.

There are no seasons in One Piece this is just been one continuous story, the show is broken down into arcs. I won't lie this show gets into some dark subject matter and yes characters to die and sometimes in horrific ways. also...... that guy with red beaded necklace is Luffy's brother

I absolutely suggest watching one piece it's an amazing show and it's brings viewers. Tho even if you don't watch it as a reaction you should definitely watch it in your own time I even suggest the filler because honestly pretty much all the filler episodes are quite entertaining . Tho it will.take you a while to watch because currently it's at episode 1015 and even if you skipped filler that would only cut down like 100 episodes because one piece has less then 10% filler episodes

Luffy obtained his powers from a devil fruit, called the gomu gomu (gum gum) fruit, which makes him stretchy. And the red hair guy is Shanks, kinda like his mentor or motivation. And that main guy u see in the beginning of some openings in the beginning with the black hair and mustache is Gol D. Roger, former king of the pirates. This is all mentioned in like the first episodes so not really a big spoiler Below are spoilers that happen (or just explanations in general, don't scroll down if you don't want to know more) So most of the guys u see when u say "oh yea those are bad guys" well, sometimes they are, sometimes they arent. THey may act like bad guys, but its really a gray area for a majority of these people. And sometimes, we just don't know enough about them to even say what kind of person we are. We are 1000+ chapters and episodes into One Piece and we really don't even know what the red-hair guy (Shanks) plans are. He could be a bad guy, He could be a good guy. There are tons of theories out there that try to explain what everyone is or what their plans are. Its a fun aspect of one piece, trying to piece together what the universe is like for them, which kinda makes us "pirates" in a way, exploring the world of One Piece and discovering the lore for ourselves

But there are a lot of episodes so take sit, keep calm and watch for the details, there are a lot of them. 3 Words: Adventure, emotions, and a top tier world/story building. Fights are not bad but it's not his best point. Pacing on anime is slow sometimes on ep500+. Everything else, for me, is perfect. I think it's impossible to not love Luffy. About the openings, 13&14 my fav by far, 1,3,5,6,15,20&23 are also fire. Opening 1 means a lot for us who love One Piece many years ago.
