Spoils on top of spoilers, and it sometimes piled on a third layer of spoilers, sometimes 2 or 3 seasons in advance. But it's all out of context so you don't know if you're getting a history lesson or a prophesy or both.

If at some point you decide to react to the anime I suggest you not to overreact, a lot of those who react to the anime do so because it is what they have been doing when reacting to other anime, but this one is so good that you don't need to do it, you won't need to exaggerate anything, just enjoy it and we will enjoy it with you.

I don't think anybody can contain their excitement when they're watching an anime as good as AOT. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with being overly enthusiastic in a reaction. If anything, I actually find it enjoyable to see other people enjoying the same shows I enjoy. We can't control a person's reaction, otherwise, it's not going to be THEIR reaction - it won't be sincere. If this guy shouts and stands up from his seat because of the excitement, let him be - that's his reaction.

Dude I think you'll definitely enjoy AoT, but if you're not into long series (20' per episode is not that long tho) you need to check the soundtrack at least. There's a video I always recommend and I don't know why there's not reactions of it. It's "Hiroyuki Sawano/Emu Project Attack on Titan suite". The music of this show is as a masterpiece as the story. And if you're going to react to some individual tracks tell your friend that look for the correct videos for you because there are some v popular that have MAJOR spoilers if you consider maybe watching the show

Why are the titans so ugly, you ask...? Because if they looked good, that would be a problem. Think about it for a second. Titans seem to be genderless, but most fundamentally they all look more like male than female in terms of physical characteristic. Now, imagine all those titans having good-looking faces and everybody had their own unique face, but just that they all looked fucking beautiful. Then the original storyline of the AoT would completely fall apart right from the beginning because the titans would just be The common enemies for every men on the planet for the titans yoinking all their wives and girlfriends just by their beautiful alluring faces even with their supposedly horrifying smile appearing like an angelic embrace to all women (except for Mikasa, maybe. But that could be a plot twist for this parody storyline lol. Eren would just be like "no, not you too, Mikasa..." and that could be hilarious actually 🤷‍♂)
