He wrote this for his wife. One of the greatest love songs ever. The blonde in his bed is his guitar. The mistress is the spotlight/stage. Who wouldn’t want him singing this to them?! And you can now see why we were completely 😍 over him ;-) I saw them twice live at Wembley stadium. The guitarist also has a stunning voice. They meld together so well.

The three Bon Jovi songs that have over a billion views each are It's My Life (2000), Livin' on a Prayer (1986), & Always (1994). Following those are You Give Love a Bad Name, Bed of Roses, I'll Be There for You, Wanted Dead or Alive, Never Say Goodbye, Blaze of Glory (solo release), Runaway, etc...

Bon Jovi is my favorite! I was a teenager in the late 80’s and I had posters of him all over my room. Arguably their most famous song is Livin’ on a Prayer, but they have so many good ones. Runaway, You Give Love a Bad Name, Bad Medicine, Lay Your Hands on Me, It’s My Life, Never Say Goodbye, Always, Born to be my Baby. That’s a good start. Enjoy your Bon Jovi journey. I’m subscribing.

A good lyricist singer, a guitar that just sings for the world and good looking men amongst all of the band and wowsa…great tunes were sure to follow.! I saw the change in looks as the song progressed and you get it! It’s an amazing tune that we all loved, lived, and still do! Welcome to the world of Bon Jove and the hair metal bands in general! By the way, I love your desk chain. Where did you get it?! Do you have a link and I want it now haha:). By the way do you do makeup for a living? You look wonderful and that’s what I’d love to look like even at my age lol.

Hi... The band Bon Jovi is amazing, all of them... Any song that you pick of them, it will be great, specially the older ones... For start, if you want pick a good live version, try a song called Wanted Dead or Alive, live in Moskow, live in London or in accoustic MTV, any version is awesome... But for your next react, try Always official vídeo, This Ain't A Love Song kids version or Bad Medicine official vídeo... Just for start... You will love it... Congratulations for your channel and saluts from Brazil...

The "Mistress" he is talking about is the stage, his touring, being kept away from his wife (who was also hischildhood sweetheart) Dorothea for so long. I believe this was written near the end of a 200 day world tour.

Nice reaction, on this and lots of the others like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin etc. I have a suggestion for a few things that are related to much of what you have liked on the channel, but at the same time would be pretty new and unexpected I think. I will try and sell it to you without giving too much away :) Take some music that goes pretty hard like Led Zeppelin, well a bit harder, but now make it 5 Japanese women in pretty white dresses. Add a singer who is a trained ballet dancer, a tiny 4 foot 8 inches tall drummer who destroys her drums and has a star for a symbol, 2 shredding guitarists one of whom is also a classically trained pianist, and a head banging or popping and slapping bassist. And all of this in high heels, singing with a Japanese accent but in English. Put it all together and what do you have...... LOVEBITES - Raise some Hell (Five of a Kind, 21/02/2020) Also this is the entrance to a massive rabbit hole of multiple other amazing songs and a load of other bands many of which will also likely not be quite like anything you have come across yet. I know I hadn't! Or if that doesn't take your fancy then there is a second option :D So this time take 4 cute Kawaii Japanese women, but now put a demon in one of them and give her a microphone. Mix it in with Harajuku fashion, brutal riffs, doughnuts, strawberries, sugar addiction, destruction of some cake. And you get..... Hanabie - We Love Sweets MV !!!!!!! Either would probably make for a very fun reaction :)

Anyone that has been in a truly completely and utterly foolish deep deep love relationship understand just how destructive it can be. Even something that is the greatest passion of your life can get utterly destroyed by it. Because no matter how big of a passion you have for something that isn't the person you love the most, it cannot compete with a love that deep. Which brings me to some of the lines of this song. The song is about the longing of a loved one while being on tour and the "mistress" in the lyrics is his guitar and the reference of "Tonight i wont be alone" is in reference to the audience of the venues they play. And the line "For tonight i sleep on a bed of nails" is both the symbolism of the lengths we are prepared to go, in order to make our loved one feel safe and protected and that, because of the distance between him and his loved one, wherever he sleeps it feels like he sleeps on a bed of nails, meaning he barely is able to sleep if at all, because he miss her so much and he want to feel as "close as the holy ghost" to her.

Hi Steph, that song and video made me love the band and Jon all those years ago, I followed so many live tours and was blessed to be at Wembley 1995, amazing concerts and live performances, Jon is incredible live, you said you were interested to see a live performance please watch ‘Always’ the most incredible love song and he delivers so emotionally, his love songs are about his wife, they met in high school and still together 35 years married. Please do a reaction to live at Wembley, Always’ and ‘Living on a prayer’ you will see how incredible and why they are such a beloved band.
