CIX(see-eye-eks) stands for Complete In X - five member boy group consists of: BX (Lee Byounggon) -1998, Leader, Main Rapper (the one that you said who looks like the maknae :D) Seunghun -1999, Main Vocal (doing the beautiful adlibs) Bae Jinyoung -2000, Vocal, Center, Face of the group (the one you were freakin about.. hahaha) Yonghee -2000, Vocal Hyunsuk -2001, All-rounder maknae and YES! THEY ARE ALL VISUALS and really tall! ♥ Their concept is based on Dante's Divine Comedy(a poem describing the author's journey through the afterlife. It has three parts, each of which is concerned with one of the three divisions of the world beyond: the Inferno (hell), the Purgatorio (purgatory), and the Paradiso (heaven)) and this concept started from their pre-debut variety show up until now... i mean they are all connected. (even their japanese releases are connected to this) and as of now, they are currently in hell.... (I really can't fully explain this one but I hope this help. hohohoho)

I love CIX! thank you for reacting! Let me add more things I know that might not have been said yet. -So CIX = Complete in X and the X stands for unknown....it could mean dance, visuals, vocals, etc. And their fandom FIX = Faith in X. - Bae Jinyoung (so of us call him baebae) - visual and center of the group had debuted prior in temporary group Wanna One from the Produce series so he knew already how to look very charismatic in front of the camera. -Not sure about a continuing story line but there can be themes for each ep. The first EP is very upbeat, happy, love/relationship based and has an RnB tone to it. I recommend watching a live performance to 'What you Wanted'. The second EP's theme is a deeper social commentary about societal pressures on youth, suicide, bullying, etc. Each song is pretty serious and they have a whole mini film series they made which they acted out these themes and it can get pretty serious and sometimes graphic, so fyi there is the original version to watch and an edited version where they took out some of the triggering scenes. I reccomend 'Maybe I' off 2nd EP. The 3rd EP, the current one, is my favorite along with the first one. All the b-sides are really really good and I hope you give the album a quick listen. - Their MVs are always very visually oriented and my favorite is their Japanese single mv for 'Revival'. Super pretty so I hope you'll check it out.

The comeback for jungle was actually postponed because jinyoung (the member you liked) sprained his ankle twice and it was supposed to come out on June 30. They also have a lot of story filmmakers for their other comeback before jungle, numb, that contain a lot of their storyline. They started the storyline with numb.

The MV is basically based on Dante's "Divine Comedy" in which he describes different levels of hell as well. In the beginning of the MV, we see the sentence "nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita mi ritrovai per una selva oscura ché la diritta via era smarrita" which is the first line from 1st Canto of Dante's Inferno and it translates to "In the middle of the journey of our life, I found myself within a dark forest, For the right path had been lost." Now if you watch the teasers of the MV, you will see Jinyoung (the guy y'all liked) running or perhaps lost in a jungle and he ends up reaching the gates of hell. Also in the same teaser we see this sentence written as he stands by the gates of hell, "lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'intrate" which translates to, "Abandon all hope, u who enter". LOL I love how you were both shook by "Jungle" MV, you basically froze :D As an Italian, I was really happy to see an interpretation of The Divine Comedy and I think they did a great job. Also, the first phrase you see on the video is the opening phrase of the book in the original language (Italian of course): "Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita mi ritrovai per una selva oscura ché la diritta via era smarrita", and translated is: "When I had journeyed half of our life's way, I found myself within a shadowed forest, for I had lost the path that does not stray."
