If you didn`t know, BX was a contestant on the survival show Mixnine and Ateez were contestants too when they were still Trainees so they know each other. Also BX and Hongjoong are close with each other :)

One thing I noticed about their choreo that lowkey sets them apart from the others are they kind of have that old boyband choreo format where the moves are BIG and take up all the space, I noticed they also use their legs heavy like some male groups do more with their upper body bit CIX love to show them thighs and use them stomps and stretches ! I live.

I hope you got to read the lyrics to Numb! Its so lyrically deep, they talk about very controversial issues in SK about school education (bullying, su*cide, pressure about grades, trust in adults, ect) since in SK school is a very stressful place (obviously it's stressful for everyone but SK is kinda extreme) and that's where the story line also comes in with mini films that showcase the members with such topics. If you'd like check them out, there is a clean version too and trigger warnings in case you need it! Both in English and Korean. CIX got a lot of hate for it because people assumed they were using mental health and such issues for clout when in reality they already had a strong concept with Movie Star and could have stayed with that but they wanted to spread awareness.

Wow out of all these comments I can't believe no body mentioned it. Cix concept is actually based of Dante's divine comedy. Literally the deepest kpop concept I have ever run across. Most of the mvs tie into their theme, even since movie star, you can see the Latin writing on the receipts in the background. Definitely worth it to watch the teasers for numb (be careful though if you are sensitive), so jungle is supposed to be the 9 levels of hell that cix faces because of what they did in the numb mv teasers. Wave is supposed to be their journey towards purgatory, and cinema is supposed to be their play on heaven, their newest mv 458 is them as angels searching for salvation and redemption. If you want to dive deep definitely look up bookish theories wave explanation, seriously will blow your mind. One other thing I wanted to say is Jinyoung has come so so far, I'm super proud of him. He was so self conscious and shy when he started out in produce 101, even though he acts like.. sigh .... It did take him a while to get there.

I just recently discovered CIX and immediately knew i was in trouble, i did a deep dive into all of their discography and ended up enjoying every single song which only ever happens with a few groups for me personally, they easily become one of my ults. Im glad to see new people check them out as well ive been looking for reactions and it makes me so happy to see people realize how good their music is! They have great personalities as well, and their b-sides are spectacular, i sometimes prefer them over the title tracks because they are so good. They took a break from that "sensual concept" for two albums but even those albums were amazing and its nice to see them showcase different sides. Their latest album and comeback seems to go back to that more mature looking concept that a lot of people think suits them best. I personally think they are one of those groups that shines regardless of concept. Thank you for reacting to them! Your reaction to movie star made me scream bc... same 😭😭

BX definitely has a grip on me. I watched Treasure Box when it started airing and he immediately got my attention. He was talented and his personality is charming in the way he treats his friends. Both he and Seunghun were on Treasure Box together and were competing to join Treasure, but YG removed them. It was disappointing at first, but then BX and Seunghun opened IG accounts and even went on a trip to Japan together. BX used to go on live and talked about how he was still determined to debut. Later Seunghun joined this company and BX joined shortly after to become the leader. I'm glad they were able to stay together since they had been friends for a long time and had both been part of the "Silver Boys" group - YG's most popular trainees from back in the day.

Japanese releases for Kpop groups will almost always get blocked (i.e Pinky Swear) it’s a rarity if a kpop group has a Japanese MV that doesn’t get blocked for react channels just a tip for the future I would be very careful with any Japanese versions for any Kpop group
