The way he is playing his harmonica almost sounds like Scottish Highlander bagpipes. Had me in tears with pride for our country and how hard fought was the battle to become America! Dan is amazing….he’s from Brazil…..the first time I heard this I was instantly covered in goosebumps and before the first verse was over I was in tears. Go to his channel and listen to him sing OPERA…..yeah, Puccini! He’s the best and has replaced Josh Groban for me…….he’s totally amazing…..He’s not “just” a metal singer……

John Newton, the author of this hymn, was involved in the slave trade after having been discharged from the Royal Navy. In 1748, a violent storm battered his vessel off the coast of County Donegal, Ireland, so severely that he called out to God for mercy. He really did a great job with Nessun Dorma. Rivaling Luciano Pavarotti in it. He has also done some metal versions of Phantom of the Opera songs, and covers of metal songs. His range is so great that he recorded himself 24 times singing Handel’s Messiah, including mezzo soprano, to make it sound like a full choir singing.
