The way he is playing his harmonica almost sounds like Scottish Highlander bagpipes. Had me in tears with pride for our country and how hard fought was the battle to become America! Wonderful reaction! Dan took us to church with this version of such a beautiful hymn. He definitely gave a new life to it and I have to say it's my favorite version. I'll never again hear this song as I used to. It's become my daily, first thing in the morning, song to start my day out with. His harmonica was a gift from his father at a very young age. Be sure to listen to An American Trilogy that he dedicated to his father when he passed away in 2017. It'll rip your heart out as he works his way through it. Dan has done The Star Spangled Banner and sung it as it should be sung! He brought the power to it that no one has ever been able to accomplish!

Hi Britt, Dan sang this with a passion, His father passed in 2018 and it was his fathers favorite song son it means alot to Dan. Im sure his father felt this all the way from heaven, That is the best rendition of amazing grace I have ever heard.I was never into metal at all, But Dan has just became my favorite version of this song. This was my moms favorite song I had played at her funeral. I wish I had Dans rendition of it back then, My mom would have felt it from heaven also.
