Now you need to see the other one: Check out Angelina Jordan ate age 13 "Bohemian Rhapsody" on AGT; age 10 "Feeling Good" on The Stream Gir Tilbake; and "I'm Still Holding Out for You"; age 9 "I Put a Spell on You" (the black and white studio version; and age 8 "Summertime" and "Bang Bang" on Norway's Got Talent. Great reaction ladies to the Russian Warrior Princess Diana Ankudinova she’s a contra alto and as you such experienced her voice is unique, beautiful,dark and mesmerizing. Please continue with her performances of Human,Is a Man’s World,Rechenka( Beautiful Russian song based on Russian folklore). She’s only 15 years old in this performance,I think she’s now 17. On a side note:The last judge to hit his buzzer is none other the famous Russian composer and pianist Igor Krustoy he came out of retirement to work with Dimash has help composed several songs together. In this show he was the judge he pressed it last not because he didn’t like or was been a jerk but because he says the buzzer disturbs the performance and waited for a quiet moment in other not to interrupted or distracted Diana. Also you must know Diana has had a very hard childhood,she mother was constantly emotional and physically abused her at age of 4 years old they found in the of winter in Russia wondering the street alone with a broken collarbone,family members were poor and could not afford to take her care so she was put into an Orphanage were she her stepmother,she’s a therapist at the orphanage,she also had a daughter both her and her daughter fell in love with Diana and ended adoption her. Do to her trauma she barely spoke and difficultly learned,as part she advised to try music which as ser took as a duck in water. Igor Krustoy has been Diana sents the show,he bought an apartment in order to help get away from her birth mom,now the Diana is famous is constantly harassing Diana.Thanks to Igor she doesn’t know where she is.

Hi Liz&Chelle! Diana is polyphonic, which is how she sounds like two people at once. I grew up in the 1960s and I listened to Cher a lot. No insult to Cher, but Diana is on a whole other level. Diana is literally redefining the female voice right in front of us. Fun trivia: Diana actually learned how to sing before she could talk.

See Rechenka next. She was 15 years old here, she was only 14 when she sung Rechenka. Diana was abandoned at age 3 at a bus stop with a broken collar bone. Rechenka is about an orphan being married off and seeking the blessing from spirits at the river which is seen as the boundary between the living and the dead. There is deep symbolism to the song and a personal connection for Diana. It is worth checking out.

Thanks again for the time given on your channel for this young talented artist. Don't let it be lost that Diana is a master story teller. The means of that amazing voice is just one part of the package. Her best attribute is the ability to express lyrics into emotions then convey those emotions towards the audience. Add in her stage presence, body movements facial expressions and suddenly the performances become believable. Believability is the end goal of most artists, this is what makes them successful. Dont feel bad, i had to watch this video 6 or 8 times before my brain believed what my ears were telling it. Diana is a unique and amazing singer and person. Igor (the last judge to push his button) said in an interview after the show said the reason he took so long was out of respect for Diana. He did not want to disturb her performance with his loud button. He has gone on to mentor her. Another young artist you will appreciate is Angelina Jordan. Her vocals are out of this world. However I must put on this label WARNING: Angelina Jordan is addictive and you will get HOOKED!

Diana is a contralto, so she has a fairly rare voice type for a female to begin with, but what really gets most people is that resonance that she can put on her voice. You were right to compare her voice to Cher - Cher is a contralto too, but Cher doesn't have the resonance on her voice that Diana does. I've seen people say that what she's doing is comparable to what happens to your voice when you yawn, that type of resonance. And that's pretty accurate. But what's amazing about it is that she can do that through pretty much a whole song. Try singing a whole song in the same throat position as when you yawn. If you haven't seen them already, check out her cover of Human then Rechenka. Those are even more impressive with the resonance this this song was. Then if you want to hear her voice with almost no resonance at all, listen to Happiness.
