The little girl symbolizes Innocence; I LOVE Dimash in white (though I do not like the symbolism of the "bad" women being dressed in black.) After Innocence comes into the scene, Goodness takes over and Dimash sings in a more relaxed uplifting manner. The "bad" women are deliberately cast as temptresses. The innocence of the little girl (again, they've used her blondness and a white dress to indicate goodness, which I do not like) comes and halts the "bad" women, disempowering them, as Dimash "(Oh, God, he is so lovable) ponders all of this and sees Goodness rising to the top and drowning out the wickedness.

This competition has place every year in August so there are many people in casual clothes 😀. The producer and master of NW is Russian composer Igor Krutoy (this bold man at the piano). If he plays on the piano, it means he is the author of the song, which Dimash sings 😀 Krotoy is not accompanist at all. Igor and Dimash work together, and the result of their collaboration is amazing always 👏

Talking about passion: passionately as you react to Dimash every time, did you already buy a ticket for one of his concerts? I experienced him live in Düsseldorf last April. Life-changing experience. Now I chose the concert in Antalya, Turkey. Britt, no matter how long your journey will be, visit one of his concerts. You will not regret for sure. The arena in Antalya ist very close to the beach btw 😜. You know, you're reacting to live concerts, mentioning the quality of his live vocals. Believe me, EXPERIENCING him live is a completely different matter. His aura is off all charts - not to mention his vocals live ON STAGE.

that 2 octave or so drop he did at 7:40 , like it was nothing.. thats crazy hard to go from a soprano high e, above c, and drop to the low end of the tenor range with that kind of power, like nothing....also the quivering ascending glide he did at 7:26, the first time i heard that when this video came out, it was shocking.....that is so hard to do going up rather than down like he did....not many world class sopranos can do that, let alond a baritone man like this....i love this guy...i seriously pray for him from time to time, that god keeps blessing him, so he can continue blessing us...what a special human being...

ciao sono marco e inizio col dirti che stà cantando in ITALIANO una lingua non molto semplice ma devo dirti che solo due o tre piccoli accenti errati ma il resto cantata in un italiano quasi perfetto uno spettacolo il testo parla della vita tra croce e delizia ( le parole che urla la brava corista CROCE E DELIZIA PASSIONE TUA ) mentre la canzone si divide in due atti divisi dalla ragazza che intona una aria fanciullesca da innocente che modifica il primo pezzo da diciamo anima oscura a anima bianca e buona infine lo sfondo secondo me richiama molto l'inferno di DANTE ALIGHIERI nella divina commedia (un'opera letteraria tra le più belle e difficili al mondo e ti assicuro che è cosi ) mentre dopo il passaggio della voce dell'innocenza vedrai che si trasforma tipo la cappella sistina che si trova a ROMA nella citta del vaticano dove risiede il PAPA bella la tua reazione cmq aspetto tue nuove reazioni in canzoni anche un po frivole e giocose ma sempre interpretate magnificamente da dimash una " badilata" di saluti da marco ciao

Many reactors feel that the subtitles are distracting from the video performance. I'm not saying that's the case here, but it is something to keep in mind when you watch reaction videos. Not everyone wants or needs English translations when they are watching the artistry that is Dimash. I personally find them distracting myself, especially because so much of the translating on Dimash videos is so poorly done.

@@gdouglas999 agreed, as russian speaker i know for sure that translations, especially if song uses poetic language - are horrible. Nevertheless, Dimash doesn't pick songs randomly (unless it's covers)or competition where he is framed). For instance "passione" was written for Dimash specifically. And lyrics are 100% accurate (italian student here). Not to translate signature songs.... I dunno. At least read lyrics before reaction. What you think ?

@@LemonSquezzed85 It would be GREAT if the reactors would read the lyrics before reacting----but, unfortunately not many have done that or will ever do it. It's the same with knowing the backstory of "Daybreak," or "Autumn Strong." It is so frustrating that reactors go in so cold that they miss half the emotional impact of those songs. I don't think there will ever be a solution to either "problem," so I guess we'll just have to live with it. And I agree that the translated lyrics for "Passione," are much better than those for many of the other Dimash songs----especially those in Russian or Kazakh. But my original point is that maybe Britt is among those who like to experience the performance without the distraction of having to watch the lyrics, too. I don't know that for sure, but I just offered it as a possibility. On the other hand, maybe it simply hasn't occurred to her that she could easily access them. All of that being said, the reactors are in complete control and if we want to watch them react to our favorite vocal artist and performer, we'll have to do it their way---although it never hurts to suggest options for them that they may not have considered. I think most of them (but not all) appreciate it when we do.

@@gdouglas999 agree on all points. Have to notice tho, that the ones who reacts as "vocal coaches" always (i mean always) go with the lyrics or read it before. Me, when i first read the lyrics "how much life there is in your deeds"... Was sitting in awe... Because although it is simple question.... The intention behind is striking. I basically reconsidered my life for how much life is in my actions and words... So its not just about vocals here. Britt is a singer herself, so im failing to understand.... Like, when you got a song to sing, you sing it without reading too? 🥲😀.

He has indeed sung it live at a few concerts, but it's not on the Stranger set list. Vocally it basically sounded the same as the recording. Same quality vocal. In studio they just clean it up a little, as with any recording. Yes, New Wave mostly isn't. Trust me, when you are in that audience and experience the entire performance you neither notice nor care. NW is spectacular and I will go again when Russia gets out of Ukraine.
