The storyline is what he's experiencing in real life it's pretty complex but its based on his bipolar and DID which means: Dissociative identity disorder... What's crazy is that he's not acting those characters he knows when he's going to switch they are real personalities in Ian's body Mito the one where the scenes are in black and white is one of his personality... he has another one that we know of his name is Mr. insanity he appears with Mito in his latest release "So I danced"

Little bit about IAN He's a Korean/Australian artist He first made his debut back in 2012 as a member of the boy group C-Clown In 2015 when his group disbanded he began creating music videos and Imo is one of the best music video directors/editors in the industry During this time he also founded the collective DPR along with his close friend artist LIVE or Dabin For years IAN had become the man behind the camera tho in recent years he finally made a comeback to the industry as a solo artist and is still a video director He recently opened up about being Bipolar and also having DID which is massively influenced in his music and videos His music is very personal to him

And the funny thing is to think that Ian was present in every part of the project: production and composition of the songs, direction and production of the movie, performance, singing and acting! He truly is a unique artist! I recommend that you listen to the rest of the album and also react to the album that is about to be released. Furthermore, I would like to take this opportunity to recommend that you react to a JYP k-band called Xdinary Heroes. Yewww! Haha i had an inkling you'd be into this! Yes they are all full songs on the album "mood swings in to order" the album is of equal quality but my absolute fav is "ballroom extravaganza" He's currently releasing new songs and mv's for an upcoming album. His previous album has some absolute bangers as well haha. His name is Christian yu and he runs/owns DPR collective. He writes produces and directs songs and mv's Thank you!

Check out all of his songs! His major influenced was daft punk, Jamiroquai & the Neptunes, he also a metal head.. you can hear the influenced styles in the music he produces.. it's so genre fluid.. This mito movie is the introduction a character based on his alter, MITO. His new releases showcase a new character / alter, Mr. insanity.. if you love psychedelic trippy style genre this arc is for you.. and the visual production is on par with a well produced movie 🙂

Okay, something you should know to understand his music videos and the lore is that Dpr Ian (christian) has bipolar disorder. He uses his music and music videos to express himself. Ian has basically created 2 character so far: - MITO: (the one from this music video/movie you just saw! You will also see him in other mvs like "Nerves" and "No blueberries", "So beautiful", etc) He represents his lows, his dark moments and all his dark memories. You can recognize him by how dark and mysterious he is (he also doesn't have one eye). As dark as MITO is Christian describes him as the protector of his mind. MITO basically tries to protect Christian from his bad memories and from harming himself - Mr. Insanity: This character is introduced in his album "Moodswings into Order" (in the song "Mr. Insanity") but we only see him for the first time in his music video, "Peanut Butter and Tears" and then you see more of him in "So I danced" Mr. Insanity basically represents Christian's manic highs. You will recognize him very easily because he's very colorful and bright. He basically displays Christians impulsive decisions, he's very unapologetic of his actions and doesn't think about how it will affect Ian. This is also why Ian himself said that although MITO is a lot darker and looks a lot more scary, Mr. Insanity is actually a lot more dangerous I will not give a lot of spoilers of his mv for "So I danced", but in this music video you will see what kind of relationship these two characters have. Oh and Dpr Ian's first two albums ( "Moodswings in This Order" and "Moodswings into Order" ) focus on MITO and the new album ( "Dear Insanity" ) that is dropping in October 6th is about Mr. Insanity
