I hoped you’d watch this with us! But AB, are you old enough to know why “b-side”? Here’s a history lesson from the oldest person in the comments. Back in the day, when all music for mass consumption was on vinyl (tho we didn’t call it that) there were albums, which spun at 33 rpm and singles, at 45 rpm. (For some reason, singles were almost always referred to as 45s.) Anyway, Side A of a 45 would be the song you heard on the radio. When you flipped it over, that was Side B, with the b-side song. 😊

I thought it was because of cassettes. They had the song from the radio and more famous ones (sometimes with music videos) in the A side and the less known I the B side. 😅

@ It was records (vinyl), then 8-track tapes (which were popular for listening in your car), then cassettes, then CDs. (I remember buying my first CD, the sound quality was mind blowing!) Cassettes probably were labeled A and B, I just don’t remember. Because I’m old. 😂
