The Chaser, aka the best song in kpop history. But it's not even my favorite. You have to check out everything prior! Be Mine and Paradise are absolute masterpieces as well! My recommendations for the next part would be BTD (Before The Dawn), Be Mine, Paradise, Man in Love and Last Romeo!

to explain all the sound effects in mv's from that time: back in the day before spotify, kpop fans used to just download straight from mv's. Kpop companies such as SM entertainment would battle this by putting sound effects in the mv's (might be noticeable in snsd mv's as well). I agree it can be super distracting and I also generally go for dance versions because of this reason! EDIT: ALSO the reason you will probably enjoy their older tracks more is because they're by Sweetune, the music producers in charge of Kara's and Nine Muses songs as well! Infinite are the kings of good ass key changes so I do hope you'll react to more!

Most of Infinite's music videos have stories so it's going to be really distracting😅 Infinite has a very distinct style (as you said, EDM and orchestral) which made them really popular back in the days. But, I think, is very different from the taste of the newer generation and I honestly respect that. Thanks for your honest opinions and still giving them a chance😊 PS. The group you're talking about at the intro is Highlight formerly known as Beast. They were originally from Cube Entertainment. After they left Cube, they set up their own agency which is Around Us Entertainment. Beast is another great group from 2nd gen you should check out :)))

Well... i guess i'm sad as an inspirit because i really wanted you to absolutely love them. We can't force somebody to like something, that's just your taste and that's it Still pretty happy you gave them a chance and got to post the reaction giving your honest opinion, even tho it wasn't really your vibe, i was curious to see your reaction. One thing i guess i should say is: indeed their vocals are incredible, and even tho their vocals are incredible their main trait is their choreo, they were known as the "Kings of Synchronization". They and SHINee were the ones that popularized this kind of synchronized choreo that is so highly praised today, their songs might feel somehow outdated today, but at their time was pretty unique and innovative, and i agree with you, since you style of reaction is focused on reviewing the songs, the MVs might be REALLY distracting, but their MVs either focus on their choreo (main trait), or storytelling, so reacting to their MVs should be an experience on it's own, BEYOND the song. As i said again, kinda sad as i wished you'd love them, but that's why i like your reactions and i'm your fan, you're honest about it, hoping you can give them a second chance being more open mind about it 🤗

Infinite is known for their synchronization and still, for me, no one tops them. Paradise is my fav song of theirs and kind of underrated. Hope you react to it eventually, There's no choreo in that mv, but the song is amazing and I remember being obsessed with the live performances of that song :) Be Mine and BTD are also 2 of their other iconic songs. What I really liked about Infinite was their rappers could legit really sing which is why they were overall very good vocally.

Fun fact: infinite used to be really poor. Their company woolim entertainment was on the verge of bankruptcy and if Infinite did not have a hit song then they were going to disband. The CEO of Woolim at the time actually sold his house just so he could produce there album called “Over The Top”. They basically put there heart, blood, sweat, and tears into that album. Finally with “Be Mine” they blew up in Korea. They became so famous in Korea and became one of the biggest groups of there time. It was incredible to witness

I actually found your SF9 and TWICE reactions the other day and watched them all, and when I saw that you were reacting to INFINITE, I was super excited since they're the 3rd of my trinity of favorite groups~ I appreciate your honesty, especially regarding Destiny since it was definitely experimental at the time on their part and can be a hit or miss. The Chaser is actually made by the same producer who did Kara's Step, Pandora, and Mister~ His title tracks for Infinite are their best, imo, and helped shape their sound (I wish he had continued producing for them, but their company wanted to use in-house producers instead). For songs, if you ever want to react to them again, I recommend Last Romeo (watch the dance practice instead because it includes the intro track, and they have really good intros), Paradise (dance practice), Be Mine (dance version), and BTD (dance version). Also, I don't know why, but their company is ridiculous when it comes to people reacting to some of their music videos, they end up getting blocked...

oh btw fifi the group you were referring to in your intro was highlight who use to be know as beast another 2nd gen bg, they were part of cube ent and they left cube went to a new company (can’t remember the name) and couldn’t keep their old name so they changed it to highlight🥰 And just a lil info on infinite i think 3 or 4 of the infinite members have left their company woollim ent in the last few years since their contracts expired and i think hoya was the 1st to leave & he actually left the group and the group carried on as 6, also most of the members are now soloists & actors and L (myungsoo) i think is the only member still currently serving in the military, they ofc are still infinite tho as they have not officially disbanded but tbh idk when or if they will have a cb again as a group tho since they are all just doing their own thing now but im hopeful they will one day!🥰 also pls anyone feel free to add anything to what i said or correct me if anything i said is wrong im literally just going off my own memory so i might have got some things wrong lol😅

Infinite was the group that got me into Kpop, so i really really appreciate that you ended up posting this. I prefer their older songs more, but I still like the newer ones, guess it's the bias in me talking. one of the things that im really proud about them is their vocals. their rappers could belt high notes too, and their songs are always high in my ears.

They made Dance Practice videos popular on KZbin with B2ST at the onset of the 2nd Hallyu Wave. that era, of like 09 to 2012 was when KPOP really truly became global thanks to the power of KZbin and Tumblr. The good ol days lol I still remember my late High School and early college days gathering up with my friends to watch and study their practice videos non-stop so that we could all do dance covers haha

I watched some of your other videos and it seems that you enjoy brighter concepts, so some of INFINITE's 'cuter' title tracks include "Man in Love", "Nothing's Over", and "She's Back". I would also suggest checking out "Be Mine", "Paradise", and "Last Romeo". INFINITE is the group that popularized synchronization in kpop and are known for their live singing! wooooow thank you!! i never expected anyone to react to infinite since they have been inactive as a group since 2018 because of the military but they will be active soon, they changed the company but they still using their name INFINITE. they are my no.1 group no matter how different songs or groups i listen to, infinite is a whole another level, they build their own company with their talent and success. their company was dealing with bankruptcy the didn't even had a building, so their CEO sold his house to produce a song for them called "be mine" while they were rookies and they got their first win at the time were it was impossible to win if you are not one of the big 3 companies artists. and after that they became popular for their synchronized knife dances and their amazing vocals and they were the first group to perform at the billboard. they are amazing group because they are the only group that has amazing vocals even their rappers are great AF and so f**king talented at dancing they are all dancing machines, they invented the scorpion dance by themselves since they couldn't afford having a dancing teacher. you can see how their company was really poor and had almost no budget on their first MVs, even their debut, they film it at Their CEO's house! i totally agree with your reactions esp destiny, i didn't like it from the first listen but i liked it on music shows and all of their songs are so addicted! the more you listen to them the more you like it!! and their b-side are a FU**ING MASTER PIECES!!! the lyrics are soooo great. if you have time i can suggest for you some masterpieces of their b-sides that will change your life.

My first ever kpop group... changed my life fr fr ... The Chaser will always be one of the most iconic kpop songs ever made imo hehe. And also they've always been called INFINITE so you might be thinking of another group with the whole name thing. They do have a couple sub units and a member left but for most of their career they were under one label with the same name. Edit: You totally don't have to love every song, please don't worry about being honest haha! The chorus is literally them dancing to adlibs lol. (I always loved the dance and the performances though. Infinite really knows how to go all in.) I hope you enjoyed The Chaser enough to check out more Infinite again later, especially because most of my favorites are still out there~. There's nothing *quite* the same as The Chaser, but I'd recommend trying Paradise, Before the Dawn (BTD), and Man In Love.
