Sunggyu is such an excellent vocalist. He is frequently in musicals in Korea to name a few: Kinky Boots, In the Heights, Mozart, and he is currently in Dear Evan Hansen! Also, yes, Sunggyu's music is right up your alley instrumental-wise!

His voice and vibrato is so unique, it almost sounds autotuned. I love Kontrol so much! BTW one of his idols is the lead singer/front man of a k band called NELL. You'll love their sound.

his whole album is a feast for the ears. I especially enjoy them after a couple a drinks, on the way home on the public bus with my eyes closed (or staring out of the windows). it's like I'm being sent to a different dimension, completely immersed in them.

He is amazing. His music is heavily influenced by NELL (the band). His first 2 albums go with this style the most. But yea his talent is not talked about enough as one of the best singers in kpop

Sungkyu is so lovely in this, his voice seems so fragile at some points in a way it just isn’t in Infinite somehow. His Lee Mujin service is also a banger. Thanks for the reaction

I love Infinite but I hadn't noticed until this Killing Voice that Sungkyu's voice reminds me so much of James Blunt, who hadn't even crossed my mind in about 15 years and then suddenly it popped in my head listening to Sungkyu! Such a lovely vibrato and emotional performance. Like you said, just so pleasant to watch. Sungkyu has a beautiful energy. 😊

You need to hear the "Chabakke Live" accoustic version of Shine he actually has quite a few mini albums at this point and the consistent quality is insane. also has fantastic live performances (often with a live band), covers, and various musical roles which show off his voice in vastly different styles.
