The album is awesome guys!!! Might be my favorite SHINee solo release this year. There are a handful of other tracks that could be the lead single and Minho was considering them. Quite a few different vibes as well.

Minho had his solo debut in 2022 with his 6 song mini album Chase, which made SHINee the first SM group to have all their members debut solo. As you may remember, Chase also completed SHINee's legacy of all the members solo albums having titles that rhymed in order to show their bond as members of SHINee -- Taemin Ace (2014), Jonghyun Base (2015), Key Face (2018), Onew Voice (2018) and Minho Chase (2022). But he has been releasing solo singles since 2019 with his song "I'm Home." Plus, he has written several of SHINee's songs, and all his rap parts in 99% of SHINee's songs. As the main rapper of SHINee, Minho's style of rap is very diverse and changes with every song to match the song style. He is one of the most versatile rappers in the industry as far as never sounding the same, ever. Call Back is his first full length album with 10 songs, and he is also holding his first solo concert tour with this comeback (although he has already held several solo fan meetings in the past few years, which are like mini concerts). As SM's experimental boy group, SHINee are known as one of the best vocal groups to ever exist, so all the members' solo songs showcase their own personal style with an emphasis on their vocal skills. "Call Back" is very on brand with Minho's style, and yet because he is a member of SHINee, it's different than anything he has ever done before and it doesn't follow any current trends. I can almost guarantee that with this comeback you will start to see and hear Minho's smooth, laid-back R&B pop style being emulated across the industry. Because when it comes to SHINee, the industry looks to SHINee as a group and the members to show them what the next trend in music and dance will be. Literally, music producers, writers and choreographers have said that when they know SHINee -- or any of the members -- is about to come out with new music, they wait to see what SHINee's new song and dance style is like before deciding on what direction to take with their next project.

SHINee are indeed a powerhouse of passionate, creative & extremely talented individuals! Minho's MVs are full of creative direction and have very smooth transitions. Very film-like. His MVs are dramatic and focus a lot on lights, allowing them to emote human feelings, often dictating a journey through the scenes and light changes. I also really like how realistic his videos are - they're creative and imaginative, but they are set in a realistic frame so it makes his videos easy to follow and relate to. Key's MVs are full of creative direction as well, but more wild and free. He's so damn creative that I feel like MVs often don't make sense unless you really focus on every scene. This can often confuse people, but Key and his team know how to portray their vision so well that there is no room for confusion if you take the time to take it all in. Instead of confusion, you're left thinking of different possibilities and interpretations. Onew's MVs are incredibly artistic and poetic. For the softer, or slower songs, the MVs can feel so heavy, but in a good way. Onew has such a distinct and unique voice that the MVs really need to match the way he sings and they need to be just as artistic as Onew is. One of my favorite MVs is Blue because it's both haunting and beautiful, and the video just takes you on a journey that's both creepy and beautiful. The same thing with Circle - incredibly poetic and meaningful. You really have to look at his videos like a puzzle. They're full of so many different and unique pieces, but when put together, they create something really wonderful. Jonghyun's MVs are just pure art. I think he had the most simplest videos out of all the boys, but his videos were probably the most aesthetically pleasing videos for me and the most cinematic. They matched his music and his persona really well. The videos were often bright, colorful, simple yet extremely artistic and poetic. I honestly can't think of any other Korean artist that had MVs like him. Jonghyun was literally born to be a musician, and his videos didn't have to be complex to show that. Taemin's MVs are extremely theatrical and I wanna say, melodramatic. Both his persona and the scenes in his videos tend to exaggerate, sensationalize, and provoke feelings from the viewers. His videos typically show entire storylines or they might focus more on a series of scenes that portray a concept. Imagery is a huge thing in his videos as well, just like his songs. He's definitely not afraid to get really deep and uncomfortable with both his music and MVs, too, which is so rare and one of the reasons he's so well respected.

Yah, SM rappers could easily be vocalist in any other groups, since they're usually trained to be able to sing too... This is Minho's first full length album, but he got other great solo works before this too.. please check out❤❤❤

minho’s also going to release a performance video for his song ‘something about u’ which is a more mature song. it would be so cool to see you both react to that. his full album is a masterpiece truly my favourite from the shinee members!!

Yes, Minho stays true to what he likes for his solo works. He has put out several singles and EP in the past. Minho's solo music is on the more chill r&b style, lots of good tracks for late night driving, but also so very different. Call Back is the most upbeat title track/single with MV that Minho has done. The Call Back album covers different genres too! He definitely shows his rapping and singing versatility. Please also react to his other MVs! Thanks for the reaction!
