i saw other reactors cutting the ends of performances too. please be more patient and be sure that the song has ended and there is nothing else important afterwards. on the wishbus the station name always is inserted _after_ the song started and _before_ it ends. if you react to her "akin ka na lang" (please do that next) you absolutely need to play the *entire* song/video from the wishbus. other songs that i heard being cut off are by Dimash when there is some kind of dramatic pause, or when you should see him after the song humbly thanking the band or orchestra etc, or by Lara Fabian when it takes her a while to come back into reality after "je suis malade" ended.

That's what I thought when I first heard her a few years ago. She sings this song in a way that makes you FEEL the meaning of the words. She's letting you know the song is about being exhausted, broken, and alone....but refusing to give up. I'm sure that's what Day was saying when she wrote it, but I never felt it from her. It's so beautiful and I've always thought that one day I would put together a video montage of poor people in the world struggling and fighting the odds with this playing in the background and it would just be the most beautiful thing.....

I think it’s partly because when she was a child she was exposed to different musical genres. Love your reaction here. I've been a Morissette fan for many years and she is one of the top 4 or 5 singers in the world. Just my opinion 😊😊 She is another singer that you are just not going to be able to appreciate fully without a headset or earbuds. Unless you are using studio-quality speakers (which most people don't). Even the professional vocal coaches don't attempt to evaluate Morissette, Angelina Jordan, Dimash, and other nuanced and extremely talented singers, without headphones or earbuds. For us mere mortals, it's pretty much required.

This a very powerful rendition of Queen Morissette, I clearly remember more than two years ago , i had a bad fall from a ladder. I was literally bedridden and a day after i was in my bed , i browsing through KZbin and bump into her performance. Her voice breathing life into a beautiful song hit me dep. I've been listening to Morissette for around 3 years and she is incredibly consistant. personally I think in the top 5 females singers around at the moment. Always pitch perfect and she uses her voice breaks, whistles and growls intentionally to add to the songs. Britt I think it is wonderful how you have now discovered two of the most gifted singers on the planet. The journey down these two rabbit holes is worth every minute you spend on it. Next one of Angelina to be amazed by is her at 13 just sitting on a sofa doing "I'd Rather Go Blind". For something current try her Live in Studio rendition of Adele's "Easy On Me". By the way yesterday was Angelina's 17th birthday. For Morissette take a listen to "Akin Ka Na Lang" from the WISH bus and her doing "Halo". If you wish to see two of the best performers out there listen to KZ Tandingan doing Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" at The Singer 2018 competition and Lara Fabian doing "Je Suis Malade". Yes, WISH 1075 is indeed a bus hence, WISH"Bus"....a very excellent platform for a radio station. It goes from places to places in the Metro Manila area of the Philippines, parked in mall parking areas and parks etc etc. Big windows and external speakers enable outside audiences to experience a mini concert from what's going on inside. Morissette is considered to be the Queen of the WISHBus. That is where she blew up in the international stage through KZbin videos produced by the "bus" operators. That voice you hear with the WishBus station ID is that of the founder of this station, Daniel Razon. There is also a WishBus operating in the Southern California area also owned by the same company as the one in the Philippines.

@@kingraijun9908 no, false ... as i saw from watching several other videos, it seems to be a conflict/messup caused by the wishbus having gotten money for this video from a sponsor. now it will be taken down when showing it with the sponsors poster on the window, and also (by that sponsor) if that poster would not be shown or blurred. and this happened not only to this video, but apparently to several other songs by other singers too which were done on the wishbus with the same sponsor.

The look of shock and awe, the wide-eyed and jaw-dropped expression, the "I cannot believe what I'm hearing now" look on your face, the flinch, the chills, the breathtaking and heart-pumping moments, especially at the climax part of this performance by Morissette of "Rise Up", reminds me of my own reaction the first time I watched this. And it keeps on happening to me whenever I watch it again, or when I watch reaction videos to it. No offense to the original singer or other singers who did covers of it, but this is the best rendition of this song, for me, at least. Not only is her voice so pleasing to listen to, but she does embellishments like her growls (like Christina Aguillera, as you mentioned) and squeaks or vocal breaks, that add to the emotion of the song. She is also a master storyteller through her use of dynamics, starting off soft and mellow, and gradually increases intensity till she goes high with power belting which makes our chest flutters with awe and excitement! I believe, you're notice the nos of views it only 100K+ on this vid. if you look carefully at some headlines, this vid is own by someone else, not direct from WishBus channel. WHY? The real reason is it has been request by Andre Day agency's took it off on KZbin multiple times. If you could ask any of Filipinos, they'll told u Morissette Rise Up is their #1 track in WishBus before deleted. If AD agency didn’t request to delete off, it should gain more than 300M views. Sad part is the agency cannot accept their original get defeat by underrated singer. Good part is Andra herself made a compliment statement in the comment.

as i learned by watching several other videos, the problem seems to be some messup of the wishbus and sponsors. as i understood this, the wishbus would have been free to show this song when not getting money for it from a different source, but they were sponsored (and had a poster of that company shown on the window) which was considered to be earnings. and thus, the video now can be taken down when it is shown with the sponsor visible, as well as been taken down by the sponsor if the sponsor would be removed or blurred. TLDR : it is not the original singer who demands takedowns because of jealousy or similar. there are other recordings of this song (not on the wishbus, and without that sponsor) which were NOT taken down, and there were performances of other songs by other singers (on the wishbus, and with that same sponsor) which were taken down too.

You cut off the song, but you get the essence of Morisette. She is a generational talent, and deserves to be known more on the international stage. Gorgeous tone, technically very sound, can sing 5 octaves with whistle notes (she does not do these much anymore to protect her voice). This video is 5+ years old and she has gotten better as she continues to learn her craft. She has become a songwriter and producer as well. She is superior to virtually any US and UK singers (I live in the US).
