I don’t blame y’all on the rankings. So Bad was such an amazing debut and so many people were expectant of their first comeback, and when ASAP was released, there were a LOT of mixed opinions on it; I was the same way, let me tell you. But that song is an absolute earworm, and it basically became the song of summer in Korea and went absolutely viral. I played the shit out of that song. But honestly, all their songs are absolute bangers.

I'm almost as new to stayc as you 2 are but a great thing I did stumble across was a snippet of them doing a song association game where they were given a word and they had to say the first song they thought of. One of the prompts was decalcomanie (which they say in the chorus of ASAP) but instead of saying their own song they went with decalcomanie by mamamoo lmao Anyway, great video as always! I must recommend StayC's song Like This. It was released with their debut and is honestly my favorite StayC song to date. I'm pretty sure you guys saw ITZY dancing to ASAP. The choreo for that song blew up online and a lot of the groups covered it in random dance. A fact about StayC is that their producers have created some of the biggest songs in KPOP... especially for Twice. Black Eyed Pilseung created Twice's songs Like Oooh-Ahh, TT, Likey, AND Fancy. Not to mention songs for Apink, Sistar, Miss A, AOA, Chungha, and more. One of the members Sieun actually started in JYPE and is close with the ITZY girls and LOVES Twice. StayC has been killing it since debut and I've loved all their companies work.

My personal ranking- 1. ASAP- this song is my SOTY for suree. I love everything about this song, the instrumental is cute and unique, the choreo is catchy and somewhat easy but still complex enough to be interesting. The bridge is dreammmy and the stylinng was super fun. 2. Stereotype- I also absolutely adore this song. The concept is fun and unique and the song is something that I could listen to day in and day out. The lyrics have a nice meaning and the emotions are really strong throughout the song. A lot of people were disappointed when this song released but I really do love it. 3. So Bad- as far as debuts this is up here with hi high, my fav debut of all time. They took a slightly overused concept and style of song but went and executed it absolutely wonderfully. There has never been a teen crush song that I have liked so much and they really did so much with this as a song. It does a great job of showcasing their talents and appeals as a group. I remember listening to this on release day, and being so impressed.

Just for more information. They have BOP factory as their CEO's. Their label was founded by BlackEyed Pilseung who are famous for some of the biggest GirlGroup hits in Korea. From TWICE"S cheer up, fancy and Likey (Amongst others) to Apink's more mature songs, to Chungha's Gotta GO and more Sistar, 4 minute and Miss A hits. They are definitely going to be pumping out more massive hits, that's for sure.

I have to admit that So Bad hit SO HARD for me that the others didn't got in my taste unfortunately, I'm still trying to get a grip of them, but they have been all over my TikTok too! I feel like TikTok has been a trending among 4th gen (the emoji thing for example). What I LOVE about STAYC is how they made two covers of Brazilian songs! As a Brazilian, it was really funny to see them hit the notes and actually sing in pt-br, check it out later! Pablo Vittar loooooves them and rumors has it that she'll collaborate with a kpop gg and we are suspecting of Stayc hard lol

I saw a couple of videos yesterday but please forgive my shitty memory for names: When IU had her latest comeback just a couple of months ago (involving Strawberry Moon, etc), STAYC got to meet her backstage. One of the members of STAYC is an absolute STAN for IU, a HUGE fan (I don't know their names yet either so I have no idea which member it is). The girl cried when they met because she just COULD NOT BELIEVE that she had made it big enough in the industry to even be in the same building at the same time as IU. She mentions IU EVERY time somebody asks who her favorite idol is. She grew up listening to her (IU has been in the industry for THIRTEEN years now, if you can believe that!), she owns all of IU's albums, all of it. She said the last several years of training just disappeared for her and she had to remind herself that she's an idol now. SO CUTE and humble, just like IU!
