The flow of the song basically shows how sugar high works - that's why there is a big drop & rush when your body receives high dosage of sugar in your blood. Pretty genius to me

The main B-side from This (Temptation) Album, is called "Devil By The Window" it has a performance music video + a dance practice, its another great TXT song, honestly that whole album is incredible because is has a cohesive narrative that tells a story, I love stuff like that.

Sugar Rush Ride was crazy popular. Dominated all the Korean charts as well as the Billboard charts (album wise). In fact the entire temptation album charted in the top 10 of melon :) Numbers wise it’s txts most successful comeback to date

The visual and aesthetic of the mv is so beautiful, it was shot in Bali btw! Saw some MOAS actually visit the exact beach location and see the cave, definitely a must visit. Anyway thank you for reacting to TXT, hope you can react to them more often on here. I’m sure you have a list of recommendations but I do recommend b-sides aswell (like opening sequence, devil by the window, tinnitus, growing pain, I’ll see you there tommorow) they’re so good. For sure they’re so versatile!

♥I was so shocked by the drop when "Sugar Rush Ride" came out, The funny thing is when they did the album preview of the album Sugar Rush Ride is on They purposely shared very little of the song, & With TXT's upcoming comeback, They shared very little of the title track which is called "OVER THE MOON" so until the MV teasers the fandom still doesn't have a clue about the sound , TXT comeback next Monday on November 4th💕

In contrast I actually loved how you gave your point to the song, that means you listened the song nicely and gave your thoughts as genuine music lover or someone who has musical profession. I really feel proud as a moa (pron. mo-aah, txt's fandom name) when people from music background say that every song from txt that they heard sounded different, txt is very versatile, their discography is one of the most diverse in kpop and when someone acknowledges that, I personally feel so happy ^^ Thank you for reacting to txt, they are coming back on NOV 4 so looking forward to more txt here! ❤

I'm glad you guys are appreciating TXT's versatility! I think they're such an interesting group because, while sonically their music changes between each release, lyrically every one of their releases are connected through an overarching narrative. What's really cool about TXT is that unlike many groups whose concept is defined by a fixed sound or aesthetic, TXT's concept is storytelling which enables them to delve into so many different sounds and styles. Since their debut, they’ve been narrating the journey of growing up, with each album capturing the emotions and experiences tied to different stages of youth. Their sound choices really emphasize this-like how their debut song "Crown" has a bright, upbeat feel (despite darker lyrics) to reflect the transition from childhood to adolescence, while "0X1=LOVESONG" takes on an emo vibe, perfectly capturing the angst and intensity of teenage years.

The anti-drop is what makes the song much more interesting in my opinion! Plus it fits with the whole temptation and seductive theme!

The song is meant to be trippy, cause all the guys on the island if you noticed were all addicted to something, like Soobin with the water and Beomgyu the butterflies. In txt lore there is a place called Magic island which is this meant to be like a Neverland where the guys are promised by this Peter Pan like character (the Devil they refer to in the songs) that they should stay there to escape reality and their problems. But then they realise it’s bad for them but it’s intoxicating. And the song Farewell Neverland covers the part of the storyline where they decide to leave because it can never be their home. Just a little explanation of meaning stuff

I honestly prefer sugar rush ride as is because I love that txt don't stick to typical song patterns and it keeps me guessing (as someone with adhd, typical pop tends to bore me). My favorite songs from them are Devil By The Window, Eternally, & Growing Pain

Yeah that "coma a little closer" part similar to Heeseung's part "turning up the party" at the beginning of Drunk-Dazed! As moaengine I figured it out as soon as I heard it:) I'm not a big fan of anti-drop either, but this is probably the only song in which I liked it so much! The mv was filmed in Bali🌊🌳🦋🧚‍♀️✨

I appreciate you even doing it and adding it to show us what you were talking about but I think the original is better😭💙. Sugar Rush Ride did exceptionally well, the album got txt No 1 on Billboard 200!! and I think the guys even said it was one of their best records in the Korean charts at the time which was 2023 January this came out.

@@valenandtheo i think it's because you said that enhypen in comparison goes for a more specific sound. but tbh, i agree, enhypen is def versatile but they also sometimes stick to a formula. which works! txt and enhypen are both similar in my opinion and have a mix of both, i think they're great
