Spring Breeze will forever be nostalgic to me. It's my first comeback as a Wanna One fan, and knowing that it's their last song made me a little sad back then. That song always gives me the feels, it sounds both like a farewell and a new beginning.

i miss wanna one too, but its so bittersweet for me cos yoon jisung, their leader, was underrated, with so little lines, but he shined in their variety show, guess one could not really expect much exposure, if not equal when you're in a bigger group nonetheless i am delighted to know that each of them are active, thriving, and interacting from time to time

Prepare for an essay hahaha Spring breeze is such a beautiful and emotional song, it hurt but it was a really good choice for their last song before disbanding :( when they released it I CRIEDD lmao The only mv you didn’t react to was beautiful, there’s a movie ver and a performance ver and tbh I’d recommend watching the performance ver bc the movie ver has a story line that was confusing even for fans haha Light is such a good song it really hits different (especially live) the “do you feel the same” in the chorus is just so good Honestly I love all their titles but boomerang just hits so hard in a way I can’t even describe it’s just such a fun song, also the instrumental part is only in the mv Also the member you recognized at 21:00 is Daehwi, he and Woojin are in ab6ix Also burn it up was a runner up for their debut song, not a predebut song! Basically before energetic came out fans voted between burn it up and energetic for their debut song so it also got a music video/live performances on music shows Thanks so much for taking the time to listen to wanna one, it’s nice to see them being appreciated after these years :’)

I knew you'd love Light hdhxbxj when the 2nd part of the first chrous hits it always makes me lose my mind! Also yes - The guy you mentioned is Daehwi :D! He's a very talented producer and singer (his solo song and mv from the answer promotions is So good!!!). Another amazing singer from WannaOne is Ha SungWoon - he went on to become a soloist and all his songs slap. Sneakers, Forbidden Island, Electrified, and Get Ready are one of my favourites :3. (also fun fact - he's in the friendgroup with taemin and jimin :D)

even 3 years later spring breeze makes me want to cry every. single. time. it was the perfect goodbye song. when it released i literally sobbed during the mv HAHA but i am so happy i was able to stan them while they were active!! i was kind of waiting to see if you would recognize the ab6ix members haha! you noticed that daehwi was familiar , and woojin is also there (the low voiced rapper that isn't daniel LOL) i'm so happy to see a wanna one reaction in 2022!! they are forever my top bg, i love them so much! Yes, you are right, it is Lee Daehwi of AB6IX and Woojin (another rapper of Wanna One) is also in the same group. If you never have reacted to Ha Sung Woon before I truly recommend you his solo project. I enjoyed this reaction and you are right about Spring Breeze... I cried my balls out and I felt so embarrassing of myself after that but I swear it was inevitable 😅 It was so painful!

I.P.U is my favourite song by them, I just love how each chorus was different each time. They kept building up the song till the final chorus where they went all out. WANNA ONE are tied for my favourite BG alongside ASTRO. Shame they had a timed contract because they put out such bangers, I'll always love their songs. Although Japanese, JO1 I feel are the Japanese produce equivalent of Wanna One so I'm currently reliving it again through JO1. Their songs are quite similarly produced so I'm obsessed!

Looking back at wanna one stages, I feel like maybe C9 took some inspiration from Wanna One. For example, to have connected album names, connected symbols in the mv like the ring in IPU and Spring Breeze and the cassette tape in all of their mv. The idea of having a film-like music video and the imagery-like dance moves from Beautiful.

I’m glad you found Wanna One. My favorite b-sides from them are Flowerbomb & Deeper. W1’s vocal combinations are so good. They were created from Produce 101 Season 2 and as a result there was less age discrimination so members as old as 23-26 were debuting in W1 (which is considered old for kpop debuts, since men typically enter Korean military service by 28), and IMO older singers just tend to be more vocally mature than teenage idols. They absolutely shook South Korea as far as kpop groups went when they were active, to where they were even winning top year-end awards against groups like EXO & BTS. Produce 101 is a fun show. You should check it out once you start diving into more groups because a lot of former contestants are now members of other active kpop groups. Minhyun from Nu’est is in W1, as well as Daehwi & Woojin from AB6IX, and Ha Sungwoon was a former member of Hotshot before he joined W1. You already know Jinyoung from CIX. The other members who are now soloists or actors now include Kang Daniel, Yoon Jisung, Ong Seongwu (actor), Lai Guanlin (actor), Park Jihoon (actor/singer) & Kim Jaehwan. I highly recommend looking up Jaehwan & Ha Sungwoon’s solo music. They are sooooo vocally talented. Kim Jaehwan actually won a popular singing show in Korea but after the show ended his career went nowhere, so he joined Produce 101 and ended up debuting in W1. Anyway I also highly recommend just playing their albums in full whenever you have the time because they could sing the ABCs and make it sound wonderful. Nearly all of their vocalists have been on Masked Singer before which actually requires contestants to have some level of vocal skill to perform/participate, including Jisung, Jaehwan, Minhyun, Jinyoung, Daehwi, & Sungwoon. Only Ong is a W1 vocalist who hasn’t been on Masked Singer but that’s because he’s focusing more on acting now rather than singing. But anyway the point is W1 are freaking great as a vocal group too.
