Reboot is still the greatest album in Kpop over the last decade. As on older Kpop fan, I really appreciate you checking them out. Yeeun, the keyboardist continued her journey as a soloist under the stage name Ha:tfelt after WG’s disbandment. She is my favourite artist & her rnb style is right up your alley. Thank you for reacting to WG! They are legends and a played a huge part in bringing kpop to western audiences. Many 2nd gen international fans got into kpop because of them. A few fun WG facts! -Yeeun is the only member who was in the group from start to finish -Hyuna debuted with WG but left the group quickly due to health problems and was replaced by Yubin. Their popularity really took off after she left so many casual fans and the general public didn't know she was in the group. -WG is one of the only groups to ever have member leave and then rejoin the group years later- that was Sunmi by the way. -probably also one of the only groups where the former member came back to perform next to their "replacement" aka Hyelim -after lead vocalist Sunye left to get married amd Sohee left to persue acting, many people thought they were done for but Sunmi rejoined and they successfully rebranded themselves as an actual band and had great success once again. -all 7 ladies who at one point held the title of Wonder Girls still have excellent friendships with each other and JYP

Wonder girls are queens of retro concepts. The first one mv song "Why so lonely" was written by one of the girls (Hyelim). Also love their songs like "Me in", "Girlfriend", " Tell me" and "Nobody Rainstone remix". JYP girls groups are the best. Really recommend you to watch another JYP gg - Miss A. My favorites: Bad girl good girl (debut), Hush, Touch, Breathe, Good-bye baby.

You might of gotten a better feel of the Wonder Girls if you saw these videos in chronological order, reverse of what you saw. They are legendary and Nobody is iconic being introduced to the US in the early stages of KPop. The vocals were strong in the beginning because of their leader and main vocalist, Sunye. She left the group to get married and have kids! 🤗. She’s doing all the adlibs also.

A Wonderful here (before I became a Once | got into Kpop since 2009) and here's some info about them that I want to share: 1. Original Wonder Girls members are the ff: Min Sunye, Lee Sun Mi, Ahn Sohee, Kim Hyun Ah (HyunA), and Park Yeeun 2. Official Positions of the said members: >Min Sunye = Leader, Center, Main Vocal, Main Dancer (JYP confirmed that Wonder Girls was created because of Sunye) >Kim Hyun Ah = Main Rapper >Park Yeeun = Lead Vocal, (and the first WG member who composed a song among them) >Ahn Sohee = Lead Dancer, Sub Rapper >Sun Mi = Sub Vocal, Sub Rapper, (later on became as Lead Vocal also) 3. After HyunA left due to sickness (as what JYPE confirmed), she was replaced by Kim Yubin for the main rapper position too 4. Woo Hye-rim replaced Sunmi when she left the group to take a hiatus in the entertainment industry 5. After Min Sunye left to get married, Sohee also left to continue her career as an actress, she's one of the main characters in the "Train to Busan" movie, the high school girl there 6. Sunmi came back to WG because the group only had 3 members even though she's already a successful soloist at that time 7. Wonder Girls was known as the Retro Queens of Kpop, their retro song "Nobody" was a mega-hit and was the first Kpop song included in a US Billboard chart 8. Wonder Girls used to be the Nation Girl Group of SK for two years before SNSD/Girls Generation replaced them, that was the time when WG left Korea for US market, that was a wrong move on their part because when they came back to SK, the battle was already between SNSD and 2NE1. KARA was dominating the Japanese market 9. Wonder Girls' last main single was "Why So Lonely" and it was a hit song

Surprised and happy to see you react to the Queens of Retro!! Nobody was the first song by a Korean artist to appear on the US Billboard charts, which is why there are English versions for a few of their tracks. They tried to make it big in the US, and were slated to have an English album after living in NY for a few years, but the album was never released :( They don't have a ton of mvs, so I think the rest are: 2 Different Tears, So Hot (covered a lot by other idols), Tell Me (also covered a lot), Irony (the only title track with Hyuna) and, if you want to check out an uhh interesting English track and collab, Like Money feat. Akon. I'd suggest maybe doing some album listens, particularly Reboot (I Feel You title track) and Wonder Party (Like This title track) if you vibe with them.

If there's any album that you should take a listen to, it's there 2nd full album wonder world. Me, In!(my ultimate favourite wonder girls song ever ever), Sweet dreams, g.n.o, stop! And be my baby. What legendary songs. Sadly they always get overlooked but wonder girls where the moment and still are the moment. Even beating out big boy groups back in there day, the fact that they toured with Jones brothers just gives you a statement and look into how big they actually where.
