I think Girls Generation is the best kpop group . Their voices are incredibly, and all the japan tracks especially is so good.. Karma butterfly, boomarang You-a-holic, Galaxy Supernova to name a few :) There is also a great remix of one of their songs which is actually better then the original ( visual dreams robotaka remix) Btw. In "I got a boy" love how they say "Lets bring it back to 140" and the songs goes to 140Beats per minute, and also how the song sounds like in 1m40sec :) It was Gee that introduced me to Girls Generation. Love everyhing about the song

SNSD is the idol of so many idols that are active rn and the reason why they decided to become idols. They also got so many people into kpop.

I’m surprised Gee is your favorite, though it and Mr Mr are near the top of my fave SNSD title tracks. As a musician, when I first heard IGAB, I had no time to process everything cause my brain was all over the place, i felt like there were fireworks lighting up my mind. All I could remember was being mindblown by the end of it all. It's such a masterpiece. And as for ITNW, I focused so much on the chord progressions, it's so beautiful. And the melody was just as playful as the instruments. Such a great song. Mr Mr. is just a bop in general, musically and vocally. TRULY ICONS.

Girl’s Generation and WJSN are that only groups where you’ll hear 2-4 ppl doing the high notes and adlibs and even the choruses are being sung by multiple ppl, not just by the main vocals. Not just doing it, but their lead vocalists can be main vocalists too, and their sub vocals can be lead vocals too

I think you would enjoy 'You Think', 'Party', 'Lion Heart' (all basically from the same era but..) and 'run devil run' if you were wanting to do another marathon like video! I Got a Boy will remain to be the most ICONIC kpop song for me. That "ayo stop, let's bring it back to 140" not only refers to going back to 140 beats per minute (bpm) but also refers to going back to the 1:40 timestamp of the song. UGHHH

Oh I’m so glad you enjoyed them! They are my favorite girlgroup in kpop ever. You may find this out later but Into The New World has such a special meaning. It’s constantly used in protests and played across the border to North Korea. What a debut song! You have to listen to “Genie” and “The Boys” when you have the time. As well as their Japanese tracks such as “Flower Power” and “Galaxy Supernova.”

When I first heard I got a boy when it came out, I was like....what am I listening to? But the thing is that it grows on you the more you hear it. I was blessed to see their SM town concert at the Madison Square Garden in NYC when they were still together and Jonghyung from Shinee was still here. That day holds so many memories for me. Those two groups are definitely an icon.
