As for the “green in my diet” can be understood as a double entendre which XG always use in their lyricism, “always looking fresh got that green in my diet” correlates to the freshness of vegetables (greens) benefiting the human body for variety of reasons as we know greens are good for us for many reasons. However, the implication here is MONEY (green which is another slang word for money) keeps her in shape, in check, looking FRESH (brand new fits and accessories that makes anyone shine which equivalently signifies the freshness of something ) YALL ever heard of the phrase “lookin fresh”? Jurin sounds the same because her and Harvey have pretty unique voices when they rap. Also XG is not an American act. These seven girls are Japanese and the only time they use a little bit of autotune is on Harvey's second verse with IYKYK.

It's their actual voices when they sing and rap, No Future bs, no T-Pain bs and no Drake bs where you can tell it'snot their real voices at times when they sing or rap. With XG you just get raw talent that they can even rap and sing in a capella and sound the sameas on the studio version. Trust me I thought it was autotune at first too. Turns out Jurin and Harvey actually sound like that when they rap and sing when you watch XG XTRA, their KZbin documentary XTRA XTRA, watch their clips from their current first world tour The First Howl or any of their live performances.

Why do people in the comments think Jurin wasn’t using auto tune. Like please don’t be blinded , I am a big fan of XG , I’ve seen all of their music, documentary, and basically every thing . They don’t infer anything to do with drugs or drinking, “green in my diet” can mean healthy eating or making money (green). This was their breakout song last year along with B side Left Right. Suggest you watch their Xtra Xtra documentary and learn their names. Also in the blue hair scene it was all 7 members with blue hair not duplicates of Jurin.

They have always been marketed to hit it big in the WEST. If I'm not mistaken, all of their songs are in English, their music has heavy Hiphop influence. I think they will be the 2nd Asian group to succeed in Coachella. BlackPink being the 1st Kpop girl group to perform & headline in Coachella. Their 2019 performance introduced Blackpink to the Western industry. Other Kpop groups have performed at Coachella, but with all due respect to them. None of them have hit or broken records like Blackpink. I think XG has everything needed to also make a huge impact in the historic music festival. I hope their label doesn't screw it up for them, & give them a proper stage (like SM did for poor AESPA🤦🏻‍♀️). I'm a Blink that just got into XG, & I am certain they will join Blackpink in making history at Coachella. They definitely cater to western music & fans on this side of the ocean. I KNOW they'll succeed in cementing their foothold in the western scene. Because they are amazing stage performers, & have good stage presence.

This is one of their "pre-revamp" songs (before Woke Up was released). There's a popular theory that music that doesn't have auto-tune in it, will never make it to western mainstream radio. So now even artists who clearly don't need it are using it (and it sounds off if you know their voices). From a woman's perspective: there's stuff called hair paint / hair chalk that can temporarily change a hair colour, however it's probably just wigs :) Also the rating people thing started in China, it would be sad to see if Japan also picked it up :/
