Great reaction to one of the most underrated ever! There is a reason he is called the "White Pele", he might not have won a world cup but ability wise Zico is as good as anyone that has played the game. Technically complete on a Messisort of level. Passing elite, dribbling elite, shooting elite, consistency and longevity elite (especially for the 70s and 80s) freekicks, volleys, acrobatics, anyway.. He had it all!!

That’s the legendary Zico. The little Rooster. The idol of Brazilian idols. R9, Romario, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Denilson, Adriano, Kaká everybody from that era was a Zico fan. Also idol in Japan where he did a lot for the Football there. He’s also one of the most humble guys on the earth. Very down to earth. Like a player from the 2002 squad said “Everybody shook when Zico walk in, I think that even Pele do”.

Great to see your appreciation for zico. One the best ever. In my top ten all time. Better than cr7. Better record than anyone (Maradona and platini) for his short time playing in Italy. He was an attacking midfielder with a ridiculous goal tally. I saw a stat recently that he scored something like over 80 goals in a single calendar year. He was known as the white Pele (when Pele was the undisputed best of all time. So this guy was seen as number 2. He was in his prime around 76 - 82. He was the best in the world these years. @@patinho5589 Me yes, I know and I seen this player, Matt Le Tissier (Le God) was a magician with the ball , great penalty taker (he only missed one penalty in this entire carreer) and he scored beautiful goals, too bad he was lazy and not played for a better team. @@patinho5589 You're like me, you don't just like watching videos of football players but also the music used in the videos. I really like the music played by Matigolvidz, for example, and also some from the Barbosa channel (in tribute to the legendary Brazilian goalkeeper who was despised because he made a mistake that cost his team victory). But I don't know if the music is copyrighted or not on the video of Matt Le Tissier, otherwise they will make a video on Kick. And I really like the music in the Denis Law video (Denis Law - The King) and that of Stanley Matthews ( Sir' Stanley Mathews), the music is sweet and moving. They can react to the video you put up and also to the video a little longer, so we'd all be happy. Thanks for the Adriano video, I'm going to watch it. Have a nice day.

He was nicknamed the White Pelé and one of the greatest attacking midfielders of all time. He's overlooked because he spent most of his career in Brazil (Flamengo, most of the clips in the video) and only played for two years in Europe at a mid-tier Italian club (Udinese), before going back to Brazil. Injuries also plagued his career. He had absolutely everything, and is one of the best dribblers and the freekick takers Brazil has ever seen.

Reacting to Zico, then Platini absolutely has to be next. These 2 were always compared with each other, it was the case in the 80's but people who know ball still definitely can't decide who was the best. I think for most people Zico is superior but Platini achieved more including 3 ballon d'ors in a row (only Messi did better) and he had one of the best peak in football history wich lead France to their 1st trophy.

@@KIDIffreact to this 5 In video on Brasil’s 1982 team. It’s legendary. They messed up and didn’t win the World Cup but achieved legendary status for how they played. Zico was the number 10 for them. They were actually missing their main striker at the 1982 World Cup, and in one match their striker missed lots and Italy got lucky with Brazil making some mistakes in defence and Italy knocked them out.

@metallife78 You're lucky to have seen him play, because it's very hard to find videos of him, there aren't many extracts, but the few I saw I was impressed by. He wasn't lucky enough to play for the USSR (except for a few matches at the Olympic Games with the USSR) because of his country's strict rules. He could have played for a bigger club such as Lazio, Arsenal, Porto or even FC Barcelona. Imagine Maradona, Hatzipanakis and Magico Gonzalez in the same team. would have been exceptional to see 3 highly technical geniuses with excellent dribbling skills. It's like Yousuf Al-Thunayan, I consider him to be the best Asian player of all time, he has exceptional technique, agility and dribbling and you wouldn't think he plays in the Saudi Arabian team, it's rare to see an Asian player as technical and an excellent dribbler of the same level as him, I haven't seen one like him in Asia. In fact, the 2 didn't lack talent, they just lacked luck, and both Saudi Arabia and Greece wanted to protect their talented players, just as Yugoslavia did at the time. Yugoslav players were forbidden to play in other countries before the age of 28. About Galis he is considered as the 1st or 2nd best european basket ball player of all time with Drazen Petrovic. The Americans didn't recognize their talent for what it was. Although Galis could have played for the Boston Celtics, he preferred to stay in Europe so that he could play for his national team. Although he would have been in the NBA, he couldn't have played for his national team (Greece) because of the laws prohibiting him from playing in the epoch.
