Hi CC, Ambrosia is some smooth "blue-eyed-soul" vibing music!!! Their Lead & Background Vocals, as well as their Musicianship is outstanding and second to none!!! Very nice reaction and you may want to consider reacting to another one of their greatest hits titled: "BIGGEST PART OF ME" it too is amazingly good!!! Peace, Peace!!!

I use to slow dance with my lady to this song by candle light just a little wine with dinner and we were up arms around each other. 45 years and it seems like it was just last night.❤

The lyrics are beautiful. Dave Pack’s voice is amazing. 70s love songs are the best - long before sampling, auto-tune and computer generated music. These are real musicians. 💙

The god news about Ambrosia is that computerized drums were never used by them and it was the '70's so those kind of drum sounds were very rare. I am glad you loved the song. :)

There was NO Auto-Tune either (invented in 1997)! People actually learned how to sing, and honed that skill, over years of practice, into what you would regularly hear in the 70s with music groups like Ambrosia.

Never heard this. But I really like the song, as well as your reaction to it. At the song's end, I'm reminded of just how powerful and lasting the memory of a past love can be. The part about him still seeing this past lover's face when he's making love to his wife kind of made me smile. We don't have any control over the things that our mind chooses to remember. Very powerful indeed. I'm enjoying your reactions.

This is only a sample of all the talent in the '60s and especially the '70s. No auto-tune or computerized instrument sounds. The '70s had the best music of all time. Anyway, try their Biggest Part Of Me, You're The Only Woman, and Holdin' On To Yesterday.

I've somewhat reconnected with someone that I've held feelings in my heart for several years now. It's a delicate situation to say the least but I've always kept a special place in my heart for this girl or should I say this lady now because she's a mother of two and now a young grandmother. I know that time and life has changed both of us in different ways but the love that I have had and still have is just as strong as before if not stronger than before. I've finally expressed my feelings for her and she knows now. It's in her court now. Love can be as beautiful as the rising or setting sun but can also be as harsh as any storm that we've ever lived through.

I would say that the song lyrics talk about a marriage breakup... she thinks that he's been unfaithful to her and is wanting to separate/divorce, over his objections... bc of his love for her, he gives in, not wanting to make it a messy breakup. After the breakup, he's still missing the "togetherness," and longs for her to reconsider her decision, but, at the same time, that feeling is getting more and more distant. She later comes to the conclusion that she's been a fool, realizing that she had been wrong about him, and she attempts to "make amends"... but by then, though, he's gotten over her (or doesn't want her any more?), and she has to settle for remaining as friends. Later on in years, though, when he has been married again for a while, he admits that she (his first love?) sometimes invades his mind, even in the inopportune moments of his new "togetherness." Deep down inside, that's how much he still feels for her. This poetic song lyric is the real life story of many men and women in the world.

She thinks he's cheating. He said, IF YOU THINK we'd be better parted, it'll hurt me, but I'll break away from you. He didn't cheat, didn't want to leave, but if someone can't trust you, it ruins EVERYTHING. He still loved her, but he has someone now who trusts and loves him.

@cc2cents Okay beautiful, great classic song for a reaction. I would kindly recommend another 70's great classic song by the artist Robert Palmer called " Every Kinda People. Another great 80's group called " Spandau Ballet " with their classic hit song called " True ". I promise both songs won't disappoint.

You know...your channel has become something of an addiction to me. I've watched twenty-something reactions from your channel; and...I can't seem to stop!!! I'm hooked!! I'd like to respectfully request your feminine insight on another song; one that (as a father) is close and personal to me: Paul Simon: " Slip Sliding Away". (again, just the song. No video) If you could momentarily lend your ears and your mind to it, I have no doubt that your perspective will be enriching. Keep doing what you're doing, friend. Watching your reactions has become one of the favorite parts of my day. ❤
