Just saw him in Atlanta! I’m not a big country fan. Chris Stapleton is in his own genre. He is more blues and just straight soul. You can feel it to your bones. It was one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen and I’ve been to many, many concerts in my life! His wife is amazing also. Thanks to her, he is singing on stage and putting out amazing albums on his own. He was just writing for everyone else for years. She talked him into singing his songs and performing. Great reaction!

The first country music concert I ever attended was Chris Stapleton. It just so happen that he was playing in A.C. NJ so me and my wife said what the heck, let’s go. Best concert I ever went to! He’s was amazing!!

Your the first guy who hit the nail on the head. It’s an old country song first done by George jones. Chris took it and did it as a blues song. He sang around Lexington Ky in a blues band before going out in his own. He’s a great blues singer.

I have yet to find a bad Chris Stapleton song. He has many, many hits. A few must listens: Death Row, Either Way, I Was Wrong, Cold, Fire Away, Whiskey and You, and Sometimes I Cry. His wife is a for-real angel (Pretty sure about that) who sings background (But Chris always has her stage front when performing live, where she belongs!). Not his band, they asked him to come up from the audience, cold, & he nailed it. If you like rock & roll listen to Blow, w/ Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars & Chris. There is no other country that sounds like this well as far as male vocalists. There are some female vocalists that get fairly close but still not to Chris’s level. Chris has a ton of blues, southern rock, and classic country influence in his style. As crazy good as he is on the album version his live work is substantially better. Chris is definitely one of a kind.
