I found Dan about a month ago him singing Amazing Grace and I have loved listening to him since! I also love watching you react to his songs, and I, feeling so proud of him like he's my son or something! lol! Because I am plenty old enough to be his mom. He is an amazing singer and performer and he is so handsome too. I've never been into long hair or metal but with Dan, I am definitely liking the hair and I am truly liking the metal he puts in songs that didn't have it originally. Plus, I've never cared for opera, but I've watched his Nessun Dorma cover multiple times and love his Music of the Night cover. But I'm not limited to just those! He is just so awesome. I truly hope he gets his 1 million subscribers if not more. You are the only reactor I've subscribed to also. 🙂

Amazing talent. Dan's law, comes from a time when his computer have him problems, the back up one wasn't working as he wanted it to. So he decided to screw Murphy's law, get up and fix it himself, from there he came up with the slogan. Shutup and do something, shows again the positivity of this man.

Dan did use Disturbed's metal version, which was nominated for a Grammy. The difference is Dan's beautiful voice. Not to knock David's voice at all, but Dan's is so clear and strong. He is, indeed, epic! I'd write more, but right now I've got to shut up and do something. 😊

When I first watched Dan's rendition of this song, my breath was taken away by the incredible power of his voice! I grew up with S&Gs version and I've heard Disturbed's version, both are very good.....but Dans beautiful distinctive voice, and the emotions he forces us to feel make his much better imo. This cover brings goosebumps and emotions. It's my absolute favorite rendition of this song. I was a teen through the Simon & Garfunkel era and I really liked their ballad, but this is just over and beyond their warning - it's a matter-of-fact statement that it's almost too late. It was 'measured' to start, you were spot on there. Not everyone picks up on this and it's a shame. He is so definitive in how he masters or remasters a song and it's that, I think, that draws emotions from people. He's captivating, standing still, with only a black background & light and that is why, whatever he had in his head, to make it sound a particular way, comes across so powerfully. He's also an artist that the visual is as important as the audio if that makes sense. He tells a story through his eyes and facial expressions and not a lot of artists do that. I love this young man, for everything he has 'given' me over the past few months, just as I needed it, at a very tricky time. I have never enthused about an artist the way I do about Dan - he's a year older than my son and I'm sure his mother must be immensely proud as I would most definitely be. Also his brother Davi, another great & talented young man. I know his father is no longer with us but I'm sure he knows what a fine, successful young man he has become.

Hi Maria, Sound of Silence was the second cover I watched after discovering Dan through Amazing Grace. Before that, I, too, was familiar with Disturbed's version and of course the one by S&G. A little while ago I compared Dan to David Dramain because I like Dan's version better, but couldn't point out why exactly. After listening parallel, switching every 30 seconds (otherwise it's hard to tell) I finally found out: Dan's voice is a bit softer, lighter in the beginning and he added more vibrato throughout the entire song, has a great timbre in his voice. With that being said, Happy Halloween 🎃

Because of the post apocalyptic nature ot this song, it is not a bad choice for Halloween. This is a little closer to Disturbed than S & G because Garfunkel wouldn't dare even fake a metal growl, but it is more reflective than Disturbed. Not as mind bending as some of Dan's stuff, but still pretty darn good. Thank you for checkiing it out.

I can’t wait until you get to Dan’s “Tears of a Dragon.” Besides his incredible singing, there are some moments where he looks very handsome/ attractive in this song. ✨I like it. I think you will too. He does get one lyric wrong…he says “watch” instead of “wash” but I don’t even care about that. Still sounds really great.
