Yes, one of those overnight fans was Jackie Chan who called and asked to meet him. There are videos of their meeting, exchanging gifts, Dimash playing the traditional Kazakh instrument Dombra for him. They have been friends ever since with Dimash singing for a couple of his movies, for his birthday, and for his film festival.

Dimash interacts with the audience at his concerts. He’s such a sweet young man. Dimash has said his Dad is his idol. They are very close. Dimash is very close with his whole family. A Kazakh tradition is the first boy born is raised by his paternal grandparents. His parents and grandparents live in the same house. His grandmother guided his music education from the age of five. Of course, his parents were right there. Dimash is respectful, kind, thoughtful and wants to set a good example for young people. Enjoyed your reaction. See you again. Bev

He was having fun with this performance. When he found out his Dad was in the audience, he was afraid he had been too 'cheeky' in that performance. He worries about disappointing his family and fans (Dears). Dimash was there without any family and thought his Dad couldn't make it due to business. Needless to say, he was thrilled to see him. Has anyone mentioned that Dimash is 6'3" tall!!!

He always respects his elders, family and his teachers. After performances or concerts he sends videos to his teachers to ask what he did wrong to correct his mistake and on his bastau concert he actually sung a song with one of his teachers, my swan live at bastau. Dimash is such a beautiful person, he’s just a dream. Apart from all his talent and generosity he is also an ambassador for peace and sung a song in Kyiv in concert and recorded it for his digital show in Kyiv called war and peace, he wrote the music for it, heart breaking for me when I watch it knowing a lot of the people in that concert may have been killed in this mindless war, if you watch his recent concerts he always makes a speech expressing his upset over the war before he sings the song

Hi Jesse! Just watch your 2 reactions and I am suscribed. Dimash is really unmatched as you said. He is just a perfect storm. And is a family Centered, honest, humble human being. Luckily for us, he is a clean artist: no drugs, no smoke, always travels with the entire family and is surrounded by his friends who play with him, arrange the songs with him…( I say luckily because we, as Humankind, have lost some of the biggest artists due to all the vices of the “world of fame” they got involved in when they became famous and since it is a religious/cultural choice, he seems to be safe). He does not have a record label either because he wants to be loyal to his goals and principles, same reason that made him decline a opera singer position in the Astana’s opera of his country. Who does that? Just a perfect storm!

Ik ben samen met mijn zoon naar een concert van Dimash geweest in Düsseldorf vorige maand! (dat was een verrassing die ik kreeg van mijn zoon!) Ik heb genoten. His father, Kanat Aitbaev, is also Dimash's producer. Kanat started the production company, DimashAli Creative Center, in 2019. He wanted not only to further Dimash's career but also to protect him from exploitation by the music industry. This allows Dimash to remain independent and free to choose what he wants to perform. His whole extended family is very involved in all of his concerts and endeavors and often travel with him, even his grandmothers!

Yeah. When he does those high notes it's like watching an Gold Medal Olympian set a new world record on the highest jump! A lot of other singers can hit those notes - but they simply strain up, hit and fall away. Dimash 'lives' up there. He has full control and extension, perfect pitch, full breath support, soft or full dynamics, straight tone or vibrato, and he comes back down when he chooses. That's the distance between him and the rest. And... just in case that's 'not enough'! - in addition to 14+ languages, multiple instruments, composing, directing etc., he's also developing his mature Bass register as well. I think it might be a few generations before anyone catches up to him! 😵‍💫😅

You are my new favorite reactor to Dimash. Your musical background makes you a good sounding board for Dimash's talent. This is kind of the signature song of Russian Singer Vitas and as Vitas had toured in China earlier, the audience was familar with it . Vitas modulates up once, Dimash goes up twice more! The song sounds like a Russian folk song hence so Dimash's costume, a takeoff of a Russian peasant's " greatcoat" . Those who get chills from a first or second listen to Dimash have a pretty good chance of ending up a "Dear". Sure hope that's the case with you! 💞💞💞 Your new fan from California, USA!

This performance was my introduction to Dimash about 15 months ago. I've seen it at least 100 times and his interaction with his Dad brings tears to my eyes every time. I feel deprived if I'm not able to spend at least an hour daily listening to his awesome talent. Usually it's more like 2-3 hrs daily. Something about his singing feeds my soul.

Dimash went above the piano scales on this one. He is a unique voice and special soul. This is the song video I found on KZbin and discovered him about a year ago. Jesse, the man at the end of the video is, Dimash's "Father"...he was in the audience to surprise Dimash, he was missing him... When he saw his father , Dimash picked up his father with a long bear hug lol

Dimash has a 6 octave vocal range I believe if that was what you were talking about? And why not opera? Great training for the theatrical performance. Avi Kaplan is also formally trained in opera for example. It provides a good discipline for whatever genres you sing in later.

Yeah later on i found the word haha. People told me how grew his octaves from 5 till 7+ over the last years. Absolutely amazing! Soon will jump into some of avi’s solo songs. Feel like i only scratches the surface on him 😄

Hoi, hartstikke leuk dat je Dimash hebt ontdekt😘! Jammer dat je te laat bent voor zijn concert in Düsseldorf afgelopen april.😊 Hij is helemaal te gek en zingt in zoveel genres dat er voor iedereen wel een favoriet te vinden is. Volgende Adagio ook van deze show, dat was na uptown funk waar hij niet zoveel votes van het publiek voor kreeg(ik vond het best leuk hem te zien rondspringen).
